IGNITER APPARATUS FOR A SMOKING ARTICLE, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An igniter apparatus is provided, comprising a heat precursor source having a heat precursor; a heating arrangement configured to, on demand, receive the heat precursor from the heat precursor source and to emit heat associated with the heat precursor and capable of igniting an ignitable article; and a sensory precursor source having a sensory precursor substance, wherein the sensory precursor substance is configured to provide a perceptible sensory effect, and wherein the sensory precursor source is in communication with the heating arrangement and is configured to release the sensory precursor substance in association with the heat emitted by the heating arrangement. An associated method is also provided.
Electric lighting device with scent cartridge
Electronic lighting systems comprising various internal housing assemblies that provide an air channel for air and scented air are contemplated. In some embodiments, an electronic lighting system comprises a housing disposed within the outer cover that supports a flame element. The flame element is allowed to move on the housing to create a realistic candle light effect. Additionally, a scent cartridge can be inserted into the electronic lighting device to create scented air that moves through an air channel in the electronic lighting device. The scented air is distributed by the electronic lighting device to create an enhanced user experience.

IGNITER WITH SAFETY PROTECTION DEVICE AND IGNITION CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
An igniter with a safety protection device (5) and an ignition control method therefor. The igniter comprises an ignition switch (3) and an energy supply module (4). The safety protection device (5) comprises a safety switch (51), a trigger module (52) and a wireless transceiver module (53), wherein the wireless transceiver module (53) can transmit a wireless request signal, receive a wireless response signal from an external device (2) and transmit the received wireless response signal to the trigger module (52), and the trigger module (52) triggers the safety switch (51) according to the wireless response signal to enable the safety switch (51) to act, so that ignition can be realized, and the ignition cannot be realized even the ignition switch (3) is actuated when the wireless transceiver module (53) does not receive the wireless response signal. The igniter can effectively prevent children or disabled persons from accidentally using the igniter.
Push-button type flint ignition mechanism capable of automatic resetting
A push-button type flint ignition mechanism that is capable of automatic reset, including: a built-in flint, a grinding wheel abutting the flint, an energy storage member that stores energy through deformation, a driving wheel rotating in the same direction as the grinding wheel when the energy storage member releases energy, a wheel axle about which the driving wheel rotates, a driving body pushed by the energy storage member when the energy storage member releases energy, a plucking portion located on the driving body and capable of plucking the driving wheel to make the driving wheel rotate, a blocking member capable of blocking the movement of the driving body, a moving member capable of making linear movements back and forth inside the mechanism and capable of squeezing the energy storage member to cause elastic deformation in the latter, and a reset member capable of pushing the moving member to reset; wherein, when no external force is exerted on the mechanism, the projections of the plucking portion and the driving wheel, respectively onto the plane perpendicular to the direction of movement by the moving member, do not overlap. Moreover, and optionally, when the energy storage member finishes releasing energy, the projections of the plucking portion and the driving wheel, respectively onto the plane perpendicular to the direction of movement by the moving member, do not overlap.
SCENTED LIGHTER COVER
A scented lighter cover includes an elongated, hollow main body having a capped bottom end, a middle portion, a hollow interior space and a top opening that are shaped to cover various commercially available lighters. The cover also includes a generally hollow cap member having a shape and size that is suitable for covering the flame producing portion of the lighter that is positioned within the main body. Each of the main body and the cap are constructed from fire resistant rubber, and are scented. A flame resistant metallic layer can be disposed along the entirety of the inside portion of one or both of the cap and the main body members.
