A combustor includes a liner having an outlet end to pass combustion gas and a liner flange protruding outward from the outlet end; a transition piece to discharge combustion gas from the liner to a turbine, the transition piece having an inlet end for coupling to the outlet end of the liner and a transition piece flange protruding outward from the inlet end to face the liner flange; and a first elastic support installed on the liner flange to protrude toward the transition piece flange. A force applied from the transition piece elastically deforms an elastic arch of the first elastic support, which includes a movable support that is spaced apart from the liner flange if the force applied from the transition piece does not primarily deform the elastic arch. An auxiliary elastic support installed inside the first elastic support elastically deforms if the force secondarily deforms the elastic arch.
COMBUSTION LINERS AND ATTACHMENTS FOR ATTACHING TO NOZZLES
An assembly for a turbomachine can include a fuel nozzle and a combustion liner. The fuel nozzle and the combustion liner can be attached to each using a plurality of clip joints such that the combustion liner is longitudinally fixed relative to the fuel nozzle but such that the combustion liner can radially move relative to the fuel nozzle.
FUEL INJECTOR SYSTEMS AND SUPPORT STRUCTURES
A turbomachine fuel injector system includes an air distributor configured to be mounted to and contained within a casing and to provide air to mix with a fuel from one or more fuel distribution systems. The system includes a fuel manifold configured to be mounted indirectly to the casing such that the fuel manifold system is contained within the casing but is independent such that fuel manifold does not touch or directly mount to either an interior of the casing or touch the air distributor within the casing to prevent or reduce thermal transfer from the air distributor to the fuel manifold.
Combustor with radially varying leading end portion of basket and gas turbine
A combustor includes: a fuel nozzle extending along an axis; a tubular combustor basket configured to cover the fuel nozzle; and a tubular transition piece configured to define a cooling air passage through which air from outside is introduced between the tubular transition piece and an outer circumferential surface of a leading end portion of the tubular combustor basket. The tubular transition piece extends toward a leading end side of the tubular combustor basket.

A nozzle for a fuel injector of a gas turbine engine, the nozzle having an insulating air gap adjacent a conduit for carrying fuel, the air gap formed between a pair of concentrically arranged annular walls, wherein the pair of annular walls are arranged to move independently to accommodate differential thermal expansion, the nozzle further including: a channel extending circumferentially around a surface a first of the pair of annular walls, facing a second of the pair of annular walls; and a sealing member received in the channel, to close the insulating gap.

The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a fuel injector for a gas turbine engine includes a fuel injector housing, and an elongated fuel tube held in position in said housing by spaced apart joints and including an undulating tube surface along at least a portion of its length between said joints, said undulating tube surface being in contact with another surface disposed in said housing at one or more locations of said undulating tube surface.
Pressure sensor assembly for a turbine engine
A gas turbine engine includes a liner positioned within a compressor section or a turbine section of the gas turbine engine and at least partially defining a core air flowpath through the gas turbine engine. The gas turbine engine also includes a casing at least partially enclosing the liner. Additionally, the gas turbine engine includes a pressure sensor assembly having a body, an extension member, and a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is positioned at least partially within the body and the body is positioned at least partially on an outer side of the casing, the extension member extending from the body through a casing opening in the casing and towards a liner opening in the liner. The extension member defines a continuous sense cavity exposing the pressure sensor to the core air flowpath.
Tunable resonator
The gas turbine engine includes a fluid system fluidly connecting at least two components of the gas turbine engine, and a tunable resonator in fluid flow communication with the fluid system. The tunable resonator has a resonating volume that varies as a function of a volume of an inflatable member located inside the tunable resonator. The inflatable member having a means for varying the volume of the inflatable member, to thereby tune the resonating volume to a selected frequency of pressure fluctuations or acoustic waves within the fluid system.

FLUID NOZZLES AND SPACERS
A spacer for a fluid nozzle can include a body configured to fit within a sheath of the fluid nozzle such that a fluid tube positioned within the sheath is held bent over its longitudinal dimension by the body thereby altering a natural frequency of the fuel tube compared to if the fuel tube were not held bent.
