High-capacity sparkless mobile double-insulated wood pellet burner unit
10222092 · 2019-03-05 · ·

Embodiments of the inventive concept provide a high-capacity, sparkless, mobile, double-insulated wood pellet burner unit. The wood pellet burner unit is safely operated on a wood floor or deck. The wood pellet burner unit produces a large radiant flame that enhances the surrounding area, free from dangerous sparks and smoke. The ash and coals from the fire are enclosed within a double-insulated housing. A wind break radiant heat reflector protects the flame from being distorted, enhances the flame so that it remains in a substantially upright column, and reflects some of the heat outwardly toward the users. Casters disposed on the bottom of the wood pellet burner permit easy and convenient movement of the unit. The wood pellet burner unit disclosed herein produces a larger and fuller flame than a pure gas fire pit based on a balanced multi-directional flow of heated combustion air flow through the unit.

A burner for burning fuels and modular heat utilizing appliances therefor. The burner includes a fuel holder, an outer wall surrounding the fuel holder and defining a combustion chamber, and optionally, a second wall surrounding the outer wall. Air is inducted from an inlet which may be an ash pan pivotally coupled to the outer wall at the bottom to open the combustion chamber. Supplementary combustion air is conducted to just above the fuel holder by the outer wall. Additional supplementary combustion air is conducted to just above the fuel holder by the second wall. The burner may include a pivotally mounted cooking grate and a pivotally mounted solid cover for closing the combustion chamber, and supporting legs. Modules individually yet replaceably attachable to the burner include a closed or open cooker, a smoker, a space heater, and a pyrolyzer.

Combination Fuel Fire Pit

A portable combination gas and wood fire pit device comprises a spark screen disposed over a fire bowl and a grating disposed across an open top of the fire bowl. A gas burner is disposed in the fire bowl and below the grating. A cover plate is disposed over the gas burner and spaced above the gas burner to cover an open cup and neck of the gas burner from above. The spark screen has a cylindrical shape with vertical side wall extending above the fire bowl and a solid section and a mesh section. The solid section has interior and exterior perimeters forming a silhouette or stencil defining an object comprising at least: an animal, a person, a landscape, or combinations thereof.

Fire pit barrier

A fire pit barrier may help reduce the likelihood of contact with a side of a fire pit. The fire pit barrier may include a frame couplable to the fire pit. The frame may include a top support, a bottom support, and at least one connector extending between the top support and the bottom support. The frame may also include a shield coupled to the frame. The fire pit barrier may be configured to cover an outer surface of the fire pit and inhibit heat transfer from the fire pit to an exterior side of the shield.

Wood-Burning Table with Isolated Fire Container

New forms of fire-containing furniture, and methods for their use, are provided. In some embodiments, a fire-containing table, including a fire-holding platform, suspended vertically below the top of the table, is provided. The fire-holding platform includes a fire container, and may include a plurality of gaps between the fire container and the table top. A first air gap may be provided horizontally, between the fire container and a cut-out in the table top, and a second air gap may be provided, vertically, between the fire-holding platform and the table top. An intermediate fire base may be included, creating a third air gap. In some embodiments, a height-adjustable fire shield surrounding the fire container is switched between a lowered and raised position, sealing and opening the fire container. The fire shield may be force-biased, creating a peripheral fire wall on the table top, and opening lower air vents when raised.

Fire pit

A fire display fire pit for burning pelletized fuel and associated components and methods. The fire display pit can include a conveyor for moving pelletized fuel from a hopper to a burn chamber. The fire pit may be configured to produce flames in a vortex pattern, such as inside a flame tower.

FIREPIT WITH PLENUM SURROUNDING COMBUSTION CHAMBER AND A SUBTERRANEAN AIR INTAKE PORT IN AN OUTER SHELL
