System, device, and method for baking a food product
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for baking a food product in a portable baking oven. The baking oven includes a main body, lower and upper stones, a heat shield suspending the upper stone above the lower stone, and a heat element emanating heat upward to a rotating flat panel having the lower stone thereon. Convection heat from the heat element moves upward from below the rotating flat panel and past a periphery of the flat panel, channeled by the heat shield to the upper stone, to move along the upper stone, and then down along the heat shield, on the opposite side. With this arrangement, the heat element heats the upper and lower stones with convection heat moving between the lower and upper stones in a side-to-side manner.
COOKING TOP
Provided is a cooking top including a main body including a heating unit, and an air curtain device that generates an air curtain flow that blocks diffusion of air flow generated by the heating unit. The air curtain device may include an intake port formed at the main body, an exhaust port that extends laterally along an upper portion of the main body, a flow guide that extends from the intake port to the exhaust port, a drive unit installed inside the flow guide to generate airflow, and an airflow control device rotatably mounted at the main body to open and close the exhaust port and configured to operate the drive unit when the airflow control device is rotated to open the exhaust port so as to generate the air curtain flow.
KAMADO-STYLE GRILL ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING HEAT SPREADERS AND/OR SUPPORT BRACKETS
A kamado-style grill assembly includes a vessel, a fire bowl, and a unit extending through an opening of the vessel for positioning below an opening of the fire bowl. The unit may include a gas burner configured to radiate heat into the fire bowl. In such examples, the grill assembly may further include a heat spreader removably coupled to the unit The heat spreader is formed at least partially of a thermally conductive material to absorb heat radiated from the gas burner and spread heat away from the gas burner. In other examples, the grill assembly may additionally and/or alternatively include a support bracket removably coupled to the fire bowl. The support bracket extends across at least a portion of an opening of the fire bowl for supporting a structure. Other example kamado-style grill assemblies and methods of installing components of kamado-style grills are also disclosed.
Tabletop Cooking Assembly
A tabletop cooking assembly for preparing foods thereon includes a burner element, a pan surrounding the burner element, a grill adjacent to the burner element, and an exhaust plenum adjacent to the grill having a plurality of apertures for drawing smoke away from the grill and an outlet for exhausting smoke therefrom. The exhaust plenum forms a defined volume around the grill to draw the smoke into the exhaust plenum and away from the grill such that the smoke does not pass through the grill or about the burner element. An exhaust duct and at least one filter assembly having at least one filter disposed therein are in fluid communication with the exhaust plenum for filtering grease. The subject invention also includes a blower for exhausting the smoke from the exhaust duct to an area outside of and immediately adjacent to the tabletop cooking assembly.

Oven
An oven has a first conveyor, a first burner that directs heat toward the first conveyor from above the first conveyor, and a second burner that directs heat toward the first conveyor from below the first conveyor. A method includes providing foodstuff on a conveyor, exposing the foodstuff to heat directed toward the foodstuff from above the conveyor, and exposing the foodstuff to heat directed toward the foodstuff from below the conveyor. Another oven has a first conveyor and first conveyor insulators that surround the first conveyor and define a first zone. Another method includes introducing foodstuff to a first conveyor belt within a first insulated zone, introducing heat into the first insulated zone, and retaining a portion of the heat within the first insulated zone. Another oven has an insulated cooking zone that closely envelopes a cooking path and an insulated oven zone that substantially envelopes the cooking zone.
GAS COOKING DEVICE
A gas cooking device is provided with: at least one burner; a gas supply conduit; at least one valve arranged between the gas supply conduit and the burner and configured to regulate the gas flow rate supplied to the burner; a fixing device configured to fix the valve to a first portion of the gas supply conduit; and a safety device configured to fix the valve to a second portion of the gas supply conduit.
GAS COOKTOP WITH INTEGRATED WOK
A chimney assembly includes a cone assembly and a chimney. The cone assembly includes a wall forming a truncated cone having an outer surface, a first circumferential edge, and a second circumferential edge, a support flange extending from the outer surface, and a bottom wall extending between the second circumferential edge and including a burner aperture wall formed therethrough. The chimney includes an inner wall, an outer wall circumscribing the inner wall, a bottom chimney wall, and a plurality of tabs. The bottom chimney wall extends between a first cylinder formed by the inner wall and a second cylinder formed by the outer wall. The plurality of tabs extend from the inner wall toward a center of the first cylinder. The support flange rests on the plurality of tabs.
Gas burner with tilt safety assembly
A gas burner includes a gas reservoir, a combustion device, and a tilt safety device fluidly connecting to one another. The tilt safety device includes first and second seats including first and second gas passages respectively, an elastomer disposed on the second seat and including a section defining a stop, a control mechanism including a lever adjacent to the elastomer and including a first contact area and at least one second contact area selectively engaging with a pusher which engages with the stop, and a gas flow channel connecting to the second gas passage and a hole extending through the elastomer and the first gas passage and including the first and second ends thereof including the stop disposed therebetween. The first and at least one second contact areas space from the elastomer at first and second heights respectively. The second height is less than the first height.
Orifice holder mounting system for gas cooktop
A compact non-rotational mounting feature or mechanism is employed for mounting an orifice holder to a support member below a cooktop of a gas cooking appliance. More specifically, the holder and support member include interengaging polygonal structure, such as a key-shaped anti-rotational peg and hole combination, allowing the holder to be initially mated with the support member in a manner which prevents relative rotation and assuring that the holder is appropriately positioned for proper alignment of various gas burner components, such as an orifice, a gas line, electrode, flame spreader and other burner related structure. Upon exacting the positioning of the holder relative to the support member, the holder to fixed in position by a mechanical fastener.
