A lightweight liquid fuelled heater for use in tents or shelters. A removable liquid fuelled burner is supplied by a fuel cannister and a pump to create pressure in the cannister. A flame plate restrains the flame in a desired position during combustion. The burner is positioned within a support plate in the heater and the burner is removable from the support plate and heater. The flame plate is likewise removable from the burner. An adjustable damper is mounted in the stack and an adjustment wheel is located externally of the heater to allow variable draft between startup and steady state combustion. A removable tray may be used for wood burning.

Compared with traditional alcohol stoves, the alcohol stove of this invention has higher power and efficiency.

Described herein are portable cooking assemblies, including a portable cooking assembly that may include: a first container having a sidewall and an opening; a stove disposed in the first container, the stove comprising: a sidewall having an exhaust aperture and an air intake aperture; a base coupled to the sidewall; and a plurality of legs, wherein at least two of the plurality of legs each may include a first end pivotably coupled to the base; a cooktop plate disposed in the first container; and a lid coupled to the sidewall of the first container and covering the opening, the stove, and the cooktop plate.

A cooking grate assembly configured for use on a portable radiant heater with a front safety grille. The cooking grate assembly has a flat main cooking grate with an upper/inner end and a lower/outer end, a pair of spaced hook tabs extending from the upper/inner end of the grate that attach to an upper part of the grille, and a pair of inwardly-angled key tabs extending from the lower/outer end of the grate. A pair of detachable legs supports the grate from a lower part of the grille, with a rotatable locking connection to the key tabs on the grate at one end and opposed inner and outer hooks at the other end that both support the grate on the grille and provide a nesting flat interlock to the rear face of the grate for storage.

A portable base and grill assembly with few parts, that is collapsible, robust, and easily portable and storable is provided. The base includes two parts: a collapsible frame for containing combustion and an insert for holding combustible material including wood and charcoal. The portable grill includes two parts: a collapsible stand and a cooking surface. The cooking surface is a rollable grill that can support cookware or be used to cook food directly. The height of the stand may be adjusted to raise or lower the cooking surface above a heat source. The portable base, portable grill and cooking surface may each be used as a standalone apparatus or combined and used together as in the assembly. The base and grill assembly may be constructed wholly of stainless steel for durability.
