Basketball training system
A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.
Monitoring Fitness Using a Mobile Device
Athletic performance monitoring and tracking may provide multiple ways in which to track athletic movement and activity. Workouts may also be tagged with various parameters including mood, weather, terrain, athletic equipment, friends used and the like. Workout information may be shared to social messaging and networking outlets. Workout information shared may include map information including images of maps, interactive maps, links to maps, route information and the like and/or combinations thereof. Additionally or alternatively, an application may be configured to execute within a context of a social networking system to facilitate athletic activity data transfer and generation of workout entries in the social networking site.
FOOTBALL TRAINING APPARATUS
Apparatus for football training is provided which includes a circular wall having an inward facing surface to support rebound of a football, which has been struck in a radial direction against this surface, back along said radial direction towards the centre of the circular wall. Multiple target indications are provided at respective angular locations around the circular wall. The apparatus has a control system for activating a series of target indications in sequence, and a monitoring system for determining whether the inward facing surface of the wall has been struck at the angular location corresponding to an activated target indication.
Coaching aid for golf
Systems and methods providing statistical analytics of golf performance for coaching including text, tabular, graphic, and image-based outputs that include trends information for the golfer, all based upon actual golf play on course situations, wherein the golfer inputs shot data during play, without interrupting the flow of the game, and uploads the shot data for analytics and review online, and wherein all information related to a given user are reviewable by an authorized coach user through a web-based coach access account. The system is further operable to provide the coach user rights for providing corrective or instructive feedback to the user, including visual recommendations such as modified target areas.
Coaching Aid for Golf
Systems and methods for golf analysis including a tag coupled to a golf club providing statistical analytics for coaching including text, tabular, graphic, and image-based outputs that include trends information for the golfer, all based upon actual golf play on course situations, wherein the golfer inputs shot data during play, without interrupting the flow of the game, and uploads the shot data for analytics and review online, and wherein all information related to a given user are reviewable by an authorized coach user through a web-based coach access account. The system is further operable to provide the coach user rights for providing corrective or instructive feedback to the user, including visual recommendations such as modified target areas.
GOLF BALL PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A golf system. The golf system includes a computing device associated with a user at a playing surface having at least one landmark object. The computing device includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may store processor-executable instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to: obtain topography data associated with a virtual golf hole for a virtual golf ball; determine a target destination location for the virtual golf ball on the playing surface based on the topography data and an anticipated virtual golf ball trajectory; and generating signals for communicating the target destination location and a ball placement location on the playing surface.
POSITION RECKONING SYSTEM UTILIZING A SPORTS BALL
A sports ball and player position reckoning system, comprising instrumentation in either a sports ball on on a player's person that allows one or more players to be electronically located on a playing field or court each time a goal attempt is made. The instrumentation is configured to either fit through the opening of an inflation port of the ball when the fill valve is removed or attached to a player or a piece of player's clothing. The system works in conjunction with a performance monitor system that detects ball interactions with a goal and is used to trigger the system to analyze the ball flight path just prior to the goal interaction. Player position is ascertained through the localization of the initial position of the player at the start of a ball's flight path.
PUTTING GUIDE SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a putting guide system including at least one projector installed in an upper portion of a putting room including a floor surface composed of a putting field and capable of projecting an image onto the putting field, a camera located in the upper portion of the putting room near the at least one projector to capture an image of the putting field, a control module for providing physical property information of a putting environment based on the image provided from the camera to be analyzed and for controlling the projector, a server connected to the control module by wire/wireless to analyze a putting result and statistics and providing the analyzed result to a user terminal, and a user terminal for controlling the control module through a putting interface received from the server to perform a putting training program.
VIDEO-BASED MOTION COUNTING AND ANALYSIS SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VIRTUAL FITNESS APPLICATION
A system and method for implementing a virtual fitness application are disclosed. Embodiments may be built for various platforms, including web browsers and mobile phones. One embodiment uses pose estimation to count the repetitive motions of a fitness activity (e.g., running). In one embodiment, to count the repetitive motions, a repetitive motion counting process is used that is based on computing differences of Y-coordinates of key points of the user. The repetitive motion counting process includes selecting a proper pose of the user; computing one or more delta values (corresponding to Y-coordinate changes of the key points); and counting a given user movement as a repetitive motion based on a function (e.g., average) of the delta values. One embodiment uses the pose estimation and repetitive motion count results to provide a gamified experience, for example, a leaderboard, a stats report, instant visual feedback, badges, coins, and a social experience.
Devices, Systems, and Their Methods of Use for Desktop Evaluation
Presented herein is an interactive platform for judging an activity by a participant in an event. The platform includes a client application program downloadable to a mobile device. The program may include a database storing a mobile device identifier (ID), a user ID, user information, and location data of the device. The application may further be configured to display one or more events of the activity as well as an input for receiving a score of the activity from the user. The platform may additionally include a server system connected with the client application programs via a communication network. The server system may be configured for receiving the mobile device ID, the user ID, the user information, and the location data for the client program, and may further be configured to receive the scores from the users, and to adjust the scores according to determined bias of the associated user.
