ELECTRIC RANGE
An electric range in one embodiment includes a case and a cover plate coupled to an upper end of the case to allow an object to be heated to be placed on an upper surface thereof The electric range further includes a plurality of heating parts disposed under the cover plate and configured to heat the object to be heated, an upper bracket disposed under the heating part and configured to support the heating part, a base bracket disposed under the upper bracket to allow a printed circuit board to be mounted thereon, and a cover bracket disposed outside the upper bracket and the case coupled to the case and configured to support the cover plate
Appliances and Methods for Adaptive Zonal Cooking
A method of operating an oven appliance including a first heat source, a second heat source, and a camera. The method including capturing a first image of a food item inside the oven, determining a characteristic of the food item, initiating a cooking cycle based on the characteristic, capturing a second image of the food item, comparing the characteristic from the first image to the second image, and directing the cooking cycle according to the change in the characteristic.

DUAL ZONE MULTI-PURPOSE COOKING APPARATUS
The present technology provides a dual zone multi-purpose cooking apparatus with a removable divider between the zones and separate horizontally opening doors for each zone. The multi-purpose cooking apparatus has a cooking chamber that is dividable into two separate cooking chambers that each are able to cook in multiple configurations, such as air frying, grilling, baking, toasting, broiling, or other suitable cooking configuration. The multi-purpose cooking apparatus controls the cooking configuration in each chamber separately to allow different cooking configurations to operate simultaneously. The two chambers are divided by a removable dividing wall. The dividing wall, when inserted between the chambers, separates the heat and the air flow that are provided by separate heating elements and fans in each of the chambers. When the dividing wall is removed, the two chambers combine to form a single, larger chamber.
OVEN APPLIANCE AND METHODS FOR ADAPTIVE COOKING
An oven appliance may provide for a method of adaptive cooking. The method may include receiving an oven temperature signal to indicate an oven temperature and directing activation of a bottom heating element according to a first heating cycle based on the oven temperature signal. The method may further include receiving a bottom temperature signal to indicate a bottom temperature and directing activation of the bottom heating element according to a second heating cycle based on the bottom temperature signal, the second heating cycle being distinct from the first heating cycle.
Electric Heater And Cooking Appliance Having Same
An electric heater includes a substrate; and a plane heating element disposed on one surface of the substrate. The plane heating element includes a pattern portion including a start point and an end point, which are located at an outermost side of the pattern portion, the pattern portion including a plurality of tracks having an arc shape, which are spaced apart from each other and are formed to have a length increasing from an innermost side to the outermost side of the pattern portion, and a plurality of bridges connecting the plurality of tracks in series. The plurality of bridges are formed on both sides of the pattern portion with respect to a reference line passing through a center of the pattern portion, and an innermost gap between the pair of bridges located at the innermost side of the pattern portion is narrower than an outermost gap between a pair of bridges located at the outermost side of the pattern portion.
OVEN APPLIANCE WITH INSULATED HEATING ELEMENT
An oven appliance includes a cabinet and a chamber defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. A heating element is positioned within or proximate to the chamber. The heating element may be partially enclosed by thermal insulation. The heating element may include an outer surface. The outer surface of the heating element may be made up of a first portion which is separated from the chamber by a thermal insulation and a second portion which is exposed to the chamber.
OVEN APPLIANCE WITH TOP GAS BURNER
An oven appliance includes a cabinet with a chamber for receipt of food items for cooking defined therein. The oven appliance also includes a gas burner positioned proximate to a top portion of the chamber. The oven appliance may also include a low-power electric heating element. The gas burner may be the only combustive heat source for the chamber. The oven appliance includes an electric power supply that may consist of a twenty amp or less circuit.
