A method includes causing display, during a first time period and via a first set of multiple smart mirrors, of live video depicting at least one user associated with the first set of multiple smart mirrors, without displaying a workout video. The method also includes causing display, during a second time period following and mutually exclusive of the first time period, and via a second set of multiple smart mirrors, of a workout video and a representation of at least one user associated with the second set of smart mirrors. The method also includes causing display, during a third time period following and mutually exclusive of the second time period, and via a third set of multiple smart mirrors, of live video depicting at least one user associated with the third set of multiple smart mirrors.

BALANCE TRAINER SIMULATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD

Provided herein is a mechatronic simulator system that provides various types of unexpected perturbations to challenge the proactive and reactive balance control in subjects to thereby improve balance control of the subject. The system includes a motion capture unit and a processing unit capable of analyzing the subject’s response to the perturbations, provide real time feedback, adjust and/or determine training sessions.

SENSORS-BASED ADAPTATION OF TRAINING PROGRAM

A computer-implemented method for adapting a training program of a user, including: storing a database including measurement data of physical exercises the user has performed, the measurement data including at least one of heart activity measurement data and motion measurement data; receiving a user input to select a weekly template for the training program, the weekly template including a training schedule including a plurality of pre-programmed repeating exercises on the weekly template; receiving a user input indicating a repeating exercise the user indicates to perform outside the training program; acquiring, from the database on the basis of the user input indicating the repeating exercise, measurement data of past one or more physical exercises of the repeating exercise; determining, on the basis of the measurement data, a training effect of the past one or more physical exercises and determining at least one repeating physical exercise of the training schedule providing a training effect closest to the training effect of the past one or more physical exercises; adapting the training schedule by replacing the determined at least one repeating physical exercise of the training schedule with exercises of the repeating exercise the user indicates to perform outside the training program; and outputting, via a user interface, instructions for the user to follow the adapted training schedule.

A multi-mode athleticism movement measurement system includes an athlete-borne acceleration sensor and an athleticism processing device to determine athleticism information based upon one or more timing measurements from the athlete-borne acceleration sensor, the athleticism information corresponding to any of multiple athleticism measurement modes available on athleticism processing device and selectable by a user. A data link between the athlete-borne acceleration sensor and the athleticism rating processing device transmits the one or more timing measurements from the athlete-borne acceleration sensor to the athleticism rating processing device.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ASSISTED FITNESS

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a apparatus and method for assisted fitness, the method may be performed based on the fitness apparatus. The method may include the following operations. At least one user using the fitness apparatus may be identified based on collected data, and an identification result may be determined, a control instruction may be obtained, and in response to the control instruction, and control content of the fitness apparatus corresponding to the control instruction may be executed based on the identification result.

Video rebroadcasting with multiplexed communications and display via smart mirrors

During a first time period and for a first user, a second user is automatically selected based on competitive data of the first user and competitive data of the second user, and a workout selection is sent to cause a video of a workout to be displayed during a second time period on a smart mirror of the first user and a smart mirror of the second user. During the second time period, a live stream of the first user exercising is displayed at the smart mirror of the second user, and a live stream of the second user exercising is received and displayed at the smart mirror of the first user. During the second time period, a performance score of the first user and a performance score of the second user is displayed at the smart mirrors of the first user and the second user.

Algorithm for breathing efficiency

A method of determining a fitness level of user with an acoustic measurement device configured to measure sound associated with airflow through a mammalian trachea. The acoustic measurement device is in communication with a controller having processing circuitry. The method includes correlating the measured sound into a measurement of the user's respiratory rate and tidal volume; calculating a second respiratory rate value using the measured tidal volume; calculating a breathing efficiency (BE) ratio based on a comparison of the user's measured respiratory rate and the calculated second respiratory rate value; correlating the calculated BE ratio to a predetermined threshold; and assigning a classification to the user based on the calculated BE ratio. The classification is indicative of the user's respiratory function performance.

Muscle load monitoring

A system for monitoring muscle load, is configured to perform operations including: obtaining, from at least one sensor, measurement data on an exerciser; determining, based on the measurement data, a number of repetitions of a macroscopic movement performed during a physical exercise; determining, based on a conversion entry corresponding to a type of the physical exercise, muscle load coefficient of one or more muscles loaded in the physical exercise; utilizing the muscle load coefficient of the one or more muscles and the number of repetitions in determining muscle load data indicating muscle specific muscle load caused by the physical exercise performed by the exerciser; and outputting the muscle load data.
