A cooking appliance (400) including: a body (402) providing a floor (404), a ceiling (406) and an intermediate wall (408) located between the floor (404) and ceiling (406), the floor (404), ceiling (406), and wall (408) at least partly surrounding a cooking cavity (410), the body (402) having an opening (412) via which product to be cooked can be moved relative to the cavity (410); a heating element (420) located in the cavity (410) to deliver radiant energy to cook the product; a cooling system (434) coupled to the body (402), the cooling system (434) including an airflow channel (436) communicating with a cold pin section (424) of the heating element (420), the airflow channel (436) configured to direct airflow to the cold pin section (424) to selectively cool the cold pin section (424); and a shield (444) positioned relative to the cold pin section (424) to shield the cavity (410) from at least a portion of the airflow.

An oven comprises an interior electronics cavity defined within electronics cavity walls. The oven includes an air inlet for receiving ambient air from an ambient space outside the electronics cavity into the interior electronics cavity and a first air outlet for returning steam laden air from a cooking space to the ambient space outside the cooking space. The oven also includes a second air outlet positioned to separate flow going into the air inlet from flow from the first air outlet. An air plenum can be defined outside of the cooking space, and the air inlet can be defined in a first portion of an exterior interface of the air plenum. The second air outlet can defined in a second portion of the exterior interface.

An oven appliance includes a cabinet having a front portion spaced apart from a back portion and a left side spaced apart from a right side. A cooktop is defined on a top panel of the cabinet and a chamber is defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. The oven appliance also includes an air duct extending from an inlet in the chamber to an outlet and an air grille extending across the cabinet adjacent to the cooktop. The outlet is positioned upstream of the air grille such that the outlet is in fluid communication with the air grille. The oven appliance further includes a trough positioned below the air grille such that the trough permits fluid communication between the outlet and the air grille and the trough obstructs fluid communication between the air grille and an interior of the cabinet.

A universal door frame is configured to aid in assembling a door for use with a cooking appliance. The door frame includes four corner components and variable-length rails to be connected therebetween. The corner components include hinge receivers and mounting brackets for panels of the door. In some examples, one or more of the rails have a vented construction for enabling air-cooling of the door. The door frame optionally includes vent covers for covering the vented rails.

A heating cooker including a case including a cooking chamber configured to receive an object to be heated, a door configured to open and close the cooking chamber of the case, a ventilation path provided to extend along a wall surface of the cooking chamber in a state of being partitioned from the cooking chamber, a detector installed in the inside of the ventilation path and including one or more sensors configured to detect information on the inside of the cooking chamber through one or more detection holes formed on the wall surface of the cooking chamber, a shutter installed in the inside of the ventilation path and configured to open and close the one or more detection holes, and a cooling fan configured to suck outside air and blow the outside air into the ventilation path so as to cool the detector and the shutter together.

Disclosed herein is a cooking appliance including a door formed including a door upper surface part which covers an upper surface of a housing and a door front surface part which is connected to a front side of the door upper surface part and covers a front surface of the housing, wherein an input part is disposed in the door front surface part.

Disclosed is an air circulation device for an outdoor cooking appliance such as a grill. The device helps circulate air more consistently and efficiently by providing slats that direct rising air in a cyclonic arrangement. By providing this cyclonic effect, the air circulation device can distribute heat and smoke more evenly to the food being cooked and improve smoke penetration, heat efficiency, and the evenness of cooking.

A steam generator is provided. The steam generator may include a steam chamber, a steam heater to supply heat into the steam chamber, a water supply, through which water to generate steam may be supplied into the steam chamber, one or more interference members disposed in the steam chamber to interfere with a flow of the water introduced through the water supply, and at least one discharge to discharge the steam generated in the steam chamber. The one or more interference members may be disposed under the at least one discharge and above the water supply.

A domestic cooking appliance includes: a main housing; a cooking compartment; a gas burner that provides heat to the cooking compartment; a cooling air passageway located between the cooking compartment and a rear wall of the main housing, the cooling air passageway being separated from the cooking compartment by a rear wall of the cooking compartment; and a gas flue. The gas flue has an exhaust gas inlet open to the cooking chamber, the exhaust inlet being located in a lower panel of the gas flue, a cooling air inlet open to the cooling air passageway, an outlet located above the exhaust gas inlet, above the cooling air inlet, and above an uppermost portion of the cooking compartment, and an upper deflector located above the outlet and angled relative to vertical at a non-zero first angle such that the upper deflector extends over at least a portion of the outlet.
