Concealable Electric Fireplace Insert
A combined furniture and heating device having a concealable electric fireplace insert installed within a fireplace compartment of a furniture apparatus is provided. The electric fireplace insert has a front surface from which simulated flames are viewable when an opening of the fireplace compartment is uncovered so that the furniture apparatus is configured in its open configuration. The furniture apparatus includes a concealing panel removably installable over the opening configure the device in a concealed configuration so that the electric fireplace insert and its simulated flames viewable at its front surface are at least partially concealed. Power to a heating apparatus of the electric fireplace insert is turned on and off by a disabling device as the concealing panel is alternated between the open and concealed configurations. The disabling device can include a switch or a thermistor.
FLAME SCREEN FOR AN OPEN AREA FIREPLACE
A fireplace is disclosed having a flame screen that is fitted over a gas burner. The gas burner may be an elongated tube having orifices that are configured to produce a row of flames. The row of flames passes through openings in the flame screen to increase the height of the row of flames, change the color of the row of flames, and/or alter a shape or distribution of the row of flames. The flame screen may also facilitate ignition of a gas emitted from the gas burner after the flame screen has been heated by the row of flames.

COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance may include a casing having a cavity and an upper space, a door that opens and closes the cavity. A panel may be disposed at a front of the casing with a height different from a height of the door. A hinge may connect the casing and the panel to each other while located therebetween. A wire cover may cover a wire harness that extends from the panel into the upper space. The wire cover may be coupled to the hinge to protrude from and retract into the upper space together with the hinge. As described above, the wire harness may be covered with the wire cover, so that outward exposure of the wire harness is prevented.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance may include a casing including a cavity and a tank chamber disposed therein, and a door that opens and closes the cavity. A water tank may be configured to be withdrawn from the casing through an entrance of the tank chamber. A panel unit may be disposed in front of the casing at a different height from a height of the door. The panel unit may be moved from a first position in which the panel unit covers the entrance of the tank chamber to a second position in which the panel unit opens the entrance of the tank chamber. The panel unit may be moved from the first position to the second position as an upper end of the panel unit is rotated downward.

Process of making electric stoves
The present invention relates to a process of making power-saving electric stoves, particularly having a large size and outer shapes similar to the conformations of traditional Tyrolean heaters or stoves, while having a very light weight and being easily movable to multiple locations of a house. The main characteristic of the present invention is that it includes making a hollow stove body, particularly having a large size, from expanded polystyrene or a similar thermoplastic polymer, with the application of an electric resistor, particularly a constant-power, and hence low-power consuming heating cable arranged around its outer surface in one or more coil loops with the interposition of a layer of adhesive material with at least one thread formed therein for supporting the resistor, with contiguous insulating grooves, and with later application of a final coating layer, made e.g. of tire-resistant cement mortar, whose outer surface may be provided with decorative designs or finishes and ornaments made of wood or other materials, which designs and ornaments may be similar to those formed on the outer surfaces of traditional Tyrolean stoves, whereas the basement of the hollow body is preferably supported by a smooth metal plate, allowing displacement thereof to any location of the house, proximate to a power outlet.
