The present disclosure relates to an electric cooktop safety system. More particularly, the electric cooktop safety system pertains to safety cookware vessels having special fastening components that secure these safety cookware vessels to an electric cooktop, preventing a user from accidentally tipping or pulling off the safety cookware vessels from the electric cooktop. In one implementation, the fastening components may include a safety stem having keyed members and stem locking members disposed on a safety cooktop to secure the safety cookware vessel to the safety cooktop. In another implementation, the fastening components may include electro-magnetic fastening components to secure the safety cookware vessel to the safety cooktop.

A pan support according to the invention for a gas stove comprises a support structure for a pan having a support surface for the pan, a chamber for a gas, in particular for an inflammable combustion mixture, the chamber being arranged in the interior of the support structure. Gas outlet openings are provided at the support structure and have a fluid connection to the chamber. The chamber has a circumferential geometry when looking from above.

The present invention relates to a control unit for a household appliance, in particular for a cooking appliance (1). The control unit comprises at least one input/output device (UI) for the entry of control commands and for the visualisation of information, particularly status information, and at least one control element (S1, S2, S3, S4) comprising a plurality of touch-sensitive switching elements positioned in a straightlined arrangement. At least a part of the input/output device (UI) is touch-sensitive and/or formed as a touch screen. The control element (S1, S2, S3, S4) is adapted to assign a power level to an electrical load depending on the activated switching element. At least one first special function, in particular a first special operating program, is assignable to at least a first one of the plurality of switching elements. The input/output device (UI) further comprises at least one selection button (13, 15), which is adapted to provide the selection of the at least one first special function. The invention also relates to a cooking appliance comprising said control unit and a method for controlling a household appliance.

A barbecue grill includes a barrel and a supporting unit. The barrel includes multiple panels and two lugs. The panels are pivotally connected to one another so that the barrel is switchable between an extended position and a collapsed position. The lugs are formed on one of the panels. The supporting unit includes a frame and multiple loops. The frame includes two lateral sections and two pivots. The lateral sections extend parallel to each other. The pivots extend from the lateral sections, respectively. The pivots are inserted in the lugs when the lateral sections are released. The pivots are disengaged from the lugs when the lateral sections are moved relative to each other. The loops are located on and connected to the lateral sections.
