This disclosure relates to the field of cooking ovens for the preparation of foodstuffs in an enclosed environment including a visual flame along with a rotating cooking plate upon which foodstuffs are placed and are transported through various cooking regions before being removed from the cooking oven for consumption.

Embodiments of a griddle system, device, and method configured to manage unwanted food byproducts. The griddle system includes a griddle having an upper side and an underside. The upper side includes a flat cooking surface and a splash guard, the flat cooking surface having a rectangular shape extending to a rear end, a front end, a left end and a right end. The splash guard extends along a periphery of the upper side of the griddle, the upper side including a trough. The trough extends laterally from the rear end of the cooking surface and extends longitudinally along a length of the rear end of the cooking surface such that the trough defines an elongated through hole therein.

The housing includes a base bounded topside by a perimetric wall to enclose an interior volume. Grease collected into the interior volume is transportable thereby to cool within a conditioned space, such as inside a refrigerator, for example. Once the grease is cooled, a block of solidified grease is readily removable from the apparatus by manual deformation of the housing. Since the housing comprises known dimensions, blocks of solidified grease of known dimensions are producible for disposal or reuse, as desired.

A radiation grill unit (1) comprises (i) a food support unit (100) with bars (110), (ii) a radiation unit (200) that includes a reflector (210) (with reflector opening (223)) hosting an IR radiation heater (220), wherein the radiation unit (200) is configured to provide IR radiation (201) in a direction of the food support unit (100), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity (3) configured to host a drip tray (300). The drip tray is configured in the radiation grill unit cavity below a lower part edge of the reflector and out of a line of sight of direct IR radiation from the IR radiation heater. The drip tray further comprises a drip tray face and at least one drip tray reservoir configured at a side edge of the drip tray in a location that does not receive direct IR radiation, and configured to store a lipid comprising liquid.

A radiation grill unit (1) comprises (i) a food support unit (100) with bars (110), (ii) a radiation unit (200) that includes a reflector (210) (with reflector opening (223)) hosting an IR radiation heater (220), wherein the radiation unit (200) is configured to provide IR radiation (201) in a direction of the food support unit (100), and (iii) a radiation grill unit cavity (3) configured to host a drip tray (300). The drip tray is configured in the radiation grill unit cavity below a lower part edge of the reflector and out of a line of sight of direct IR radiation from the IR radiation heater. The drip tray further comprises a drip tray face and at least one drip tray reservoir configured at a side edge of the drip tray in a location that does not receive direct IR radiation, and configured to store a lipid comprising liquid.

The present invention relates to a handling device for roasted food, having a support sheet (12) for placing roasted food thereon, and a tray (14), especially for catching the roasting juice given off by the roasted food, wherein the tray (14) comprises a tray bottom (16), a wall (18) surrounding the tray bottom (16), and an outlet device (24), the outlet device (24) being situated in or on the wall (18), the outlet device (24) comprising an outlet tube (34) having a first end (36) and a second end (38), and in the region of the first end (36) or the second end (38) of the outlet tube (34) there is arranged a closure cap (48), which is movable into an open position for opening the outlet tube (34) and into a closed position for closing the outlet tube (34).

The present invention relates to a handling device for roasted food, having a support sheet (12) for placing roasted food thereon, and a tray (14), especially for catching the roasting juice given off by the roasted food, wherein the tray (14) comprises a tray bottom (16), a wall (18) surrounding the tray bottom (16), and an outlet device (24), the outlet device (24) being situated in or on the wall (18), the outlet device (24) comprising an outlet tube (34) having a first end (36) and a second end (38), and in the region of the first end (36) or the second end (38) of the outlet tube (34) there is arranged a closure cap (48), which is movable into an open position for opening the outlet tube (34) and into a closed position for closing the outlet tube (34).

Provided is a cooking apparatus in which a heating plate, a frame, and a pocket part are independently provided and which has a structure that is capable of securing use convenience and safety by a coupled structure of the heating plate, the frame, and the pocket part.
