Disclosed is a cooking appliance. The present disclosure includes an exhaust passage that is formed inside an exhaust duct and has one side connected to the inside of a cooking chamber through an exhaust port and the other side that is open to an upper portion of a top plate, and a blocking part that is provided inside the exhaust duct having the exhaust passage and blocks at least a portion of a movement path of water flowing downward toward the exhaust port from the exhaust passage.

CONTACT GRILL WITH PASSIVE SMOKE REDUCTION
Contact grill designs with features that reduce the production of smoke and that otherwise diffuse smoke to reduce the visibility of the smoke as such smoke made up of a combination of steam and burned grease is generated during the cooking of a food product such as a meat product. Contact grills make use of passive air flow in one or both of upper and lower grill housings to reduce production of smoke and to better diffuse smoke to reduce smoke visibility exiting a cooking chamber of the contact grill.

The grill includes an intake aperture defining a plurality of slats configured for receiving smoke from the cooktop; a waste tray compartment connected to the trough for receiving waste and grease and having a drawer for removing and cleaning; an interior plenum configured to create a vacuum force to pull air and smoke from the cooktop into the intake aperture; a diffuser positioned over the trash compartment and extending downwardly and outwardly; a tunnel configured to receive air flow from the plenum; and a blower housing enclosing a blower fan configured for pulling air and smoke from the cooktop into the intake aperture and through the plenum. The intake aperture, the plenum, and the blower are configured to achieve 100% visible smoke capture.

HYDROPHOBIC FILTER IN OVEN AIR OULET
An oven comprises a cooking volume and a fluid inlet in fluid connection with the cooking volume for ingress of fluid into the cooking volume. The oven also comprises an outlet conduit in fluid communication with the cooking volume for egress of gas from the cooking volume. The oven further includes a hydrophobic filter in the outlet conduit configured to capture moisture from a flow of fluid egressing from the cooking volume.
