A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A spring may drive the rack towards the stowed position. A locking mechanism may be used to secure the rack in one or more positions. A release mechanism and/or a reset mechanism may be used to control the retracting cycle of the rack.

The through hole (14A1) faces the angle adjustment member (30).

An oven appliance may include a cabinet, a plurality of chamber walls, a cooking plate, a debris trap, and a bottom heating element. The plurality of chamber walls may be mounted within the cabinet. The plurality of chamber walls may define an oven chamber. The plurality of chamber walls may include a back wall, a top wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, and a bottom wall. The cooking plate may define a cooking surface in the oven chamber between the bottom wall and the top wall. The debris trap may be disposed against the cooking plate. The debris trap may define a recessed trough horizontally spaced apart from the cooking surface and disposed therebelow. The bottom heating element may be mounted above the bottom wall to heat the cooking surface within the oven chamber.

A method for operating a cooking system includes receiving information from a powered cooking accessory positioned within an interior cavity of an oven. The powered cooking accessory includes a body receivable within an interior of the oven, a first electronic device coupled with the body, and a device coupling extending from the body. The method further includes determining at least one characteristic of the powered cooking accessory and providing electrical power to the electronic device by an electrical coupling between the device coupling and a connection port within the interior cavity of the oven at a predetermined output level based on the at least one characteristic thereof.

A heating arrangement for an oven includes a heating assembly including a plurality of elongate heating members extending along respective longitudinal axes oriented in a first direction and mutually spaced apart in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The heating arrangement further includes a cover unit having a body extending along a plane oriented parallel with the plurality of elongate heating members and spaced apart therefrom in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. A plurality of openings extend through the body with at least some of the openings being aligned with respective ones of the elongate heating members in the first and second directions.

A vertical first guide groove is opened in a side wall of the inner housing. The connecting rod mechanism is connected to the lifting support via a connecting member passing through the first guide groove. The connecting rod mechanism drives the lifting support to move vertically along the first guide groove in the housing.

A liftable baking net structure for an oven includes an inner housing, a lifting support mounted inside the inner housing, and a connecting rod mechanism mounted outside the inner housing. A vertical first guide groove is opened in a side wall of the inner housing. The connecting rod mechanism is connected to the lifting support via a connecting member passing through the first guide groove. The connecting rod mechanism drives the lifting support to move vertically along the first guide groove in the housing.
