COOKING APPARATUS
A cooking apparatus includes a main body including a cooking chamber, a door configured to open and close the cooking chamber of the main body, a wire inserted into the main body from an inside of the door, a service hole formed on an upper surface of the main body to allow access to the wire inserted into the inside of the main body, and a service panel removably mounted to the main body so as to open and close the service hole.

A method for filtering airborne particulates is described. The method includes providing an exhaust hood, and the exhaust hood defines an intake and the exhaust hood being adapted to receive airborne particulates via the intake. The method also includes conveying a portion of a filter media from a media source area to an active media area, transferring the portion of the filter media from the active media area to a media discard area, the media discard area and the media source area being disposed on substantially opposed sides of the active media area, and severing the portion of the filter media in the media discard area from a remainder of the filter media.

A range hood assembly includes a hood stack with crown molding attached to and bordering a top end of the hood stack. A speaker assembly is located within the crown molding. A cooking appliance includes a secondary venting arrangement within an oven cavity to supplement a primary venting arrangement with localized venting of combustion products adjacent a flame detector that detects a flame emitted by a gas burner disposed under the oven cavity. Doing so may assist with stabilizing the flame generated by the gas burner prior to establishment of steady state flow pattern within the oven cavity.

A microwave cooking appliance having a connector system connecting the appliance to an external vent configuration. The connector system may include an adaptor.
