A method comprises detecting, by one or more processors of a wearable device, a tag identifier of a tag located on exercise equipment. The method also comprises selecting, from a memory of the wearable device, an algorithm from a plurality of stored algorithms responsive to the algorithm having a stored association with the tag identifier and receiving, from a sensor of the wearable device, movement data of a user performing an exercise associated with the exercise equipment. The method may also comprise executing the selected algorithm using the received movement data as input and determining, when the user has completed one repetition of the exercise based on the execution of the selected algorithm using the received movement data. The method may also comprise transmitting a record comprising repetition movement data that was received during the one repetition to a remote computing device.

Training apparatus

A training apparatus includes a fixed frame, a training rod, a motor, rotation information detection sensor, tilt angle and position difference calculation units, determination, motor drive and position difference eliminating units. The training rod is supported by the fixed frame in a manner capable of being tilted by a motor about at least an X-axis or a Y-axis so as to hold the limb. The tilt angle calculation unit calculates a tilt angle of the training rod. The position difference calculation unit calculates a position difference. The determination unit obtains the position difference every time when a second time period elapses. If the position difference generated in the second time period is a first threshold or lower, the motor drive unit drives the motor so that the position difference is accumulated and maintained. The position difference eliminating unit resets the position difference at a predetermined timing.

A wearable device may be configured for over-the-ear wear, which includes a speaker, a transceiver, and sensors to measure biometric activity in the user while worn during athletic performance training. The system uses a method which compares past performance to current performance and training goals to adjust a training plan during performance for maximizing training results. The system analyzes current and past performance and generates new training performance output goals in real-time based on the user's current performance. The system then transmits coaching output during a live training session instructing the user on how to adjust their performance output during a current training session. Some embodiments include connecting to smart gym apparatus which connect to the system and automatically increase/decrease resistance/speed depending on the system determining a need to change performance output for maximum gains.
