A free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet comprising a first portion of the free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet configured to removably house first exercise weight plates of a plurality of different sizes and a plurality of different weights. A second portion of the cabinet is configured to house a computer screen display. A third portion of the cabinet is configured to house at least one camera, one or more processors, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the cabinet to present a display on the computer screen display housed in the second portion of the cabinet. A fourth portion of the cabinet is configured to removably house at least one barbell and a plurality of dumbbells. A fifth portion of the cabinet comprises four legs of the cabinet that allow the cabinet to stand upright without additional support.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A BICYCLE TRAINER
A system and method for controlling an exercise device are provided herein. The system includes a memory having computer-executable instructions and at least one processor to execute the computer-executable instructions to wirelessly connect the exercise device, receive a training mode, receive at least one variable for determining a power set point, determine the power set point responsive to the training mode and the at least one variable and control a magnetic brake assembly in the exercise device responsive to the power set point.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A treadmill includes a deck having a continuous track, and a plurality of slats fixedly connected to the track. The treadmill also includes a first post extending from the deck, a second post extending from the deck opposite the first post, and a first arm supported by the first post and including a first rotary control. The treadmill further includes a second arm opposite the first arm and supported by the second post. The second arm includes a second rotary control separate from the first rotary control. The first rotary control is configured to control a first function of the treadmill and the second rotary control is configured to control a second function of the treadmill different from the first function.
REMOTE TRAINER(S)-TRAINEE(S) ELECTRONIC EXERCISE SYSTEM
An apparatus and method for remotely training one or more trainees by one or more trainers, using a 1-to-many duplex video/audio session(s). The sessions can be “live” sessions providing real-time input and feedback between the respective parties. A smart remote “fitness device(s)’ at the trainee(s)' site with the assistance of coordinating “app” provide to the trainer(s), accurate assessment of the trainee(s)' performance. The trainer(s) may adjust the activity (e.g., treadmill, resistance, etc.) of the remote fitness device(s) for increased or decreased performance. Real-time feedback from the trainee(s)' systems is provided for real-time analysis by the trainer(s).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING A PERSONALISED DOSE OF EXERCISE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a system for delivery of a personalised dose of exercise to subjects, comprising a computing device configured to obtain information pertaining to the subjects. The system further includes a fitness program determining device configured to: store information about the subjects; determine a personalised dose of exercise for a subject based on the information of the subject; and schedule the personalised dose of exercise to one or more exercise zones and points in time in a physical gym. The system furthermore includes an instruction device for providing personalised instructions to the subject based on the personalised dose of exercise at the points in time. The personalised instructions includes instructions for performing activities in the exercise zones, an order in which the activities to be performed in the exercise zones, and a workout sequence and a timing in which the exercise zones are to be completed.
Ambulatory path geometric evaluation
In an embodiment, an apparatus (16) is presented that classifies device-sensed movement along a path based on a score that characterizes a geometrical property of the movement.
Fitness equipment cruise control with power reserve
A computer implemented system provides a cruise control function, during a fitness equipment-based workout, to report a power output amount based on a cruise control set-point. The system includes a piece of fitness equipment, a control device, and a computing device. The fitness equipment produces an output corresponding to actual power produced on the fitness equipment. The control device transmits an indication of power being produced to the computing device as an input to a fitness training game. In a first operational state, the indication represents the actual amount of power being produced via operation of the fitness equipment by the user, but in a second operational state, the numerical indication is a virtual power amount corresponding to a cruise control set-point amount established via the control device.
User interface with segmented timeline
A method includes receiving a video input, receiving an indication of a first segment type corresponding to a first workout activity being performed in the video input, and generating a segmented timeline with the processor, the segmented timeline including a plurality of segments, and at least one segment of the plurality of segments corresponding to the first workout activity. The method further includes generating a user interface with the processor, the user interface including the segmented timeline displayed together with at least part of the video input. The method also includes providing the user interface to a plurality of exercise machines via a network.
Systems and methods for dynamically lighting a fluid-resistance exercise machine
An illumination device for directing light into a transparent fluid tank of a fluid-resistance exercise machine is disclosed. The device can be coupled with an exterior surface of the tank and includes a light source oriented to project light through a surface and into a region of the fluid tank where the light can be observed by a user of the machine during operation, especially when a rotary device disturbs the fluid to generate the fluid resistance effect. The illumination device can include a control unit having a processor and a communication device, where the communication device receives an exercise-related parameter relayed during operation of the exercise machine. In response the control unit can dynamically adjust a quality of the light as a function of the received parameter, such as heartrate, output, resistance, time, distance, or speed.
Generating custom audio content for an exercise session
System, apparatuses, and methods can provide customized exercise sessions and customized videos corresponding to the exercise session. Audio clips can be dynamically selected to make custom audio content for an exercise session. The audio clips and metadata can be obtained, where the audio clips correspond to categories. The exercise session can include one or more components. A destination timeline for a component can include one or more first segments that require audio, and one or more second segments that can optionally have audio. Audio clips can be selected for the various segments, where a segment can be designated for a particular category of audio clips. Identification information for the selected audio clips can be saved and used to generate the custom audio content.
