SOLAR ENERGY SPACE HEATING THERMOSTATIC CONTROLLER
A solar energy thermostatic controller using a solid-state microcomputer that manages air mover(s) to supply heated air for building space heating. Methods includes microcomputer software for communicating with temperature sensors located at the solar heating source, the supply vent source and the building room/interior. The present invention thermostatic control device features a data logger to record temperatures and humidity history, and elapsed time usage history of solar heated air available from attics and crawl spaces; or solar collectors mounted in or on walls, rooftops, or exterior locations. The thermostatic control device manages use of limited solar heated air for building environmental control. Program controlled temperature set points manage an HVAC blower to gather solar heated air during the daily sunlight solar excursion and to control shutdown of the supply system when solar heated air temperature falls below present room/interior temperature. Methods include permanent memory storage of historical data.
Hot water supply device
A hot water supply device includes a heater, a water channel, a mixing valve unit, and a circulation mechanism. The mixing valve unit has a valve member and a drive unit configured to drive the valve member to change a mixing ratio of supply water heated by the heater and unheated water. The circulation mechanism has: a connection passage that connects the water channel to the heater by being branched from a part of the water channel between the mixing valve unit and the heater; an on-off valve that opens and closes the connection passage; and a pump configured to return the supply water remaining in the water channel through the connection passage to the heater. A drive amount acquisition unit acquires a drive amount of the drive unit, and a controller controls the circulation mechanism based on the drive amount acquired by the drive amount acquisition unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A MIXING VALVE OF A HEATING SYSTEM
A fluid heating system including a fluid supply subsystem having a fluid heating device, a fluid output subsystem, and an intermediary fluid device. The fluid heating system also includes a control device for the fluid supply subsystem, a first temperature sensor, a second temperature sensor, and a control circuit coupled to the control device. The control device is configured to control one selected from a group consisting of the fluid heating device and an amount of water input to the intermediary fluid device. The first and second temperature sensors are configured to output first and second temperature signals, respectively. The control circuit is configured to generate a first control signal based on the second temperature signal, determine a multiplier, generate a second control signal based on the first temperature signal, and send a main control signal to the control device based on the first and second control signals.
A WATER HEATING SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a water heating system for efficient heating of water for immediate use that fits either to industrial applications or household applications. The water heating system is suitable to be combined with a solar heating unit and it can be operated on electric power or on gas-based heating units for providing hot water to multiple consumers for household or industrial utilization. Furthermore, the system can be stand-alone, operating without any additional water heating system and can provide an immediate stream of hot water, e.g. it can be installed within a water supplying appliance. The water can operate in two modes: (1) heating for immediate use of hot water; and (2) heating water to be contained in a reservoir for later use. The system uses a two (bi) directional flow valve.
Method and system for heating water
A method of heating water in a water storage tank. The method includes: selecting an outlet port and an inlet port from at least three ports located in the tank at different heights along a vertical direction. The outlet port is below the inlet port. The method further includes extracting water from the outlet port, supplying the extracted water to an external heat exchanger configured for heating the extracted water, and delivering heated water from the heat exchanger to the selected inlet port.
Heat source device for heating
When a voltage signal is input to input terminals as a positive voltage, the voltage conversion circuit generates a control voltage proportional to an input voltage by a voltage-dividing circuit according to resistance elements, a voltage follower circuit according to an operational amplifier, and a voltage-dividing circuit according to resistance elements. When a voltage signal is input to the input terminals as a negative voltage, since the operational amplifier outputs a power supply voltage according to an input of the negative voltage, the voltage conversion circuit generates a predetermined positive voltage obtained by dividing the power supply voltage by the resistance elements as the control voltage. The predetermined positive voltage is higher than a voltage range of the control voltage when the voltage signal is input as the positive voltage.
Heated water availability control
A water heater system includes a water heater having a first water outlet and a second water outlet. The water heater system further includes a flow detection device coupled to the first water outlet to detect a water flow through the first water outlet. The water heater system also includes a flow control valve fluidly coupled to the second water outlet. The flow control valve is configured to control a flow of water through the second water outlet based on whether the water flow through the first water outlet is detected by the flow detection device.
