When a hot water supply operation is started, a single mode is used in which hot water is output only from a second hot water supply circuit of a water heater, by cut-off of a flow path in a first hot water supply circuit of a space-heating water heater by a cut-off mechanism. When a load imposed by hot water supply by the second hot water supply circuit increases during the hot water supply operation in the single mode, the cut-off mechanism is opened to start hot water output from the first hot water supply circuit and a hot water supply operation in a parallel mode is performed in which hot water is output from both of the first hot water supply circuit and the second hot water supply circuit.

A system for heating a building, including a heat generator to heat a carrier fluid, at least one radiating element for transferring heat to a thermal load included in a building, a delivery conduit for transferring the carrier fluid from the heat generator to the radiating element, a return conduit for transferring the carrier fluid from the radiating element to the heat generator, a three-way valve arranged along the delivery conduit and connected to the return conduit, the three-way valve being operable to mix the carrier fluid in the delivery conduit to the carrier fluid in the return conduit, a plurality of temperature sensors arranged to measure the temperature of the carrier fluid and a temperature of the environment outside the building, and a control unit operatively connected to the heat generator, to the three-way valve and to the temperature sensors.

The present invention is directed to an integrated boiler system, comprising: two separate boilers, one disposed inside the other, each of the boilers having: (a) a vertical partition disposed therein; (b) a water passage at a top side of the partition; and (c) a water passage at a bottom side of the partition; a chamber disposed in, or generated by, a gap between the boilers; and a heating element, disposed in the chamber, for heating the boilers simultaneously by the same energy.
HYDRONIC SPACE CONDITIONING AND WATER HEATING SYSTEMS WITH INTEGRATED DISINFECTING DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system for disinfecting water for hydronic space conditioning and domestic hot water. The system includes a thermal storage tank, a disinfecting device and a control unit. The control unit monitors an outlet temperature of water exiting the thermal storage tank. Further, the control unit calculates a temperature difference between a temperature threshold limit associated with the disinfecting device and the outlet temperature. The control unit transmits a first signal to the disinfecting device when the temperature difference is a positive value. The first signal operates the disinfecting device in the activation mode for heating the water to provide anti-bacterial sanitation. The control unit transmits a second signal to the disinfecting device for deactivating the disinfecting device when the temperature difference is a negative value. The sanitized water from the disinfecting device is used for conditioning an enclosure and a domestic hot water.

The on-demand heat pump water heater can have a low fluid capacity heating chamber which has an inlet and an outlet, a heat pump for heating the fluid, and a controller to control the heat pump and maintain the temperature of the fluid at a predetermined temperature. The on-demand heat pump water heater can include one or more temperature sensors, flow sensors, fluid mixing valves, or supplemental heat sources.
