System for Regulating Device Charge Depending on Fitness Metrics
This invention is used to control the duration of time it takes to charge any device, depending on how many units the user has taken out of their fitness goal. This invention connects to a fitness device such as a smart watch and retrieves the amount of units the user has completed. Being conditional on how many units the user has taken, the device will either charge at a normal pace or proportionally slower. For example, if the user's daily goal was 10,000 units and they completed 5,000 units, their device would charge half its normal pace. This invention charges the device more slowly by pausing the charges for periods of time.
Exercise system and method
A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.
METHOD FOR GENERATING MULTIMEDIA DATA ASSOCIATED WITH A SYSTEM FOR PRACTICING SPORTS
Motion sickness is reduced for users of mechanical systems used to practice sports that comprise an immersive virtual reality device. In particular, the use of prediction and interpolation algorithms enable fluid movements to be displayed within the virtual environment.
Method of real time monitoring of a person during an event and event dynamics system thereof
A method of monitoring at least one person in an event, comprises providing at least one sensor associated with the person, measuring data using the at least one sensor, wherein the measured data includes data representative of a motion of at least one part of the person's body, the method further comprising, by a processing unit based at least on said data, determining at least one insight, wherein said insight is characteristic of at least one of (a) an action performed by the person in the event and (b) an event situation, thereby facilitating characterization of at least one of the person and the event.
BODY JOYSTICK FOR INTERACTING WITH VIRTUAL REALITY OR MIXED REALITY MACHINES OR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS WITH BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT
A system and method for integration of body movement computer gaming control and brainwave entrainment comprising an attachment device configured to be attached to a portion of a user's body, a sensor attached to or integrated into the attachment device for detecting movement, a stimulation transducer for providing brainwave entrainment therapy, and a tether and actuator for providing feedback to the user about interactions with the virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications.
Systems and methods for providing computer displays in aquatic environments
Systems and methods for providing a distortion-free pool-surface display beneath a swimmer. In one embodiment, projectors are positioned below a water level at opposite walls of a pool, and are configured to project images to a display surface at the bottom of the pool beneath a swimmer. A camera is used to view images projected by the projectors and to provide corresponding image data to an image correction platform on a graphics processing unit (GPU). The image correction platform identifies distortions in the images, generates image corrections that counter the identified distortions, and applies the corrections to subsequently projected images. The image correction platform also generates image adjustment that cause overlapping portions of the projected images to match seamlessly. The projected images may provide immersive experiences, coaching/training interfaces or other interactive displays.
Interactive network game with game conditions altered based upon group physical activity
There is disclosed a system for conducting multi-member group competitions involving physical exertion, the system includes a competition server that serves to designate a set of parameters for a competition involving at least two competing groups of individuals engaged in physical activity, the set of parameters defining a win condition requiring physical activity to be completed by at least two separate individuals within each group. The system further receives data representative of physical activity of multiple individuals in a first group, receives data representative of physical activity of multiple individuals in a second group, determines whether the win condition has been satisfied by the first group or the second group, and identifies a winner as the first group or the second group that completed the win condition.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION, MANAGEMENT, SYNDICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF DIGITAL ASSETS THROUGH A NETWORK IN A MICRO-SUBSCRIPTION-BASED PLATFORM
Systems and methods are for production, management, syndication and distribution of digital assets through a network such as the Internet or wireless network. Digital media assets are distributed to consumers through a syndicated network of Outlets under control of a central platform. Distribution is format agnostic. There is a single platform between the B2B2C, wherein a platform allows, through a single access for each stakeholder, the ability to each have control over availability dates and pricing specifications to a plurality of merchants and/or subscription outlets or channels. Subscription channels can support micro-subscriptions with diversely curated and priced offerings, including acceptance of crypto-currency. The delivered media assets may include content associated with an exercise apparatus, including content for an exercise session including computer generated content and computer augmented content created in response to exercise session data.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MOBILE EXERCISE DEVICE
A mobile exercise device configured to enhance virtual reality experiences is provided. The system generally comprises a harness, top supports, bottom-carrying arms, resistance elements, and attachment elements secured to said resistance elements. In some preferred embodiments, a mechanical arm and/or top-carrying arm may be used to change the position of the resistance elements about a user. The resistance elements are preferably secured to a glove worn by a user, allowing for resistance in multiple directions. In one preferred embodiment, a control system may be used to adjust the tension of the resistance elements. In another embodiment, the system may be configured to operably connect to a gaming system, wherein an actuator operably connected to said resistance elements is responsible for adjusting tension based on actions by a user within a digital environment.
Control system for a rehabilitation and exercise electromechanical device
An electromechanical device for rehabilitation includes pedals coupled to radially-adjustable couplings, an electric motor coupled to the pedals via the radially-adjustable couplings, and a control system including a processing device operatively coupled to the electric motor. The processing device configured to, responsive to a first trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in a passive mode by independently driving the radially-adjustable couplings rotationally coupled to the pedals. The processing device also configured to, responsive to a second trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in an active-assisted mode by measuring revolutions per minute of the radially-adjustable couplings, and cause the electric motor to drive the radially-adjustable couplings when the measured revolutions per minute satisfy a threshold condition, and responsive to a third trigger condition occurring, control the electric motor to operate in a resistive mode by providing resistance to rotation of the radially-adjustable couplings.
