A blower device includes a Coanda effect fluid flow amplifier having a suction opening, an outlet opening to provide an amplified fluid flow, an inner passage along an amplifier central axis passing through the suction opening and the outlet opening. An inlet conduit inputs pressurized fluid into the inner passage for drawing the ambient fluid from the suction opening to the outlet opening by Coanda effect, achieving amplified flow. A diffuser downstream of the amplifier includes diffuser side walls that delimit a diffuser inner side surface extending about a diffuser central axis arranged along the amplifier central axis and terminates with a first flow inlet open end facing the outlet opening, and an opposite second flow outlet open end delivers further amplified fluid flow. At least one side opening is upstream of the second flow outlet open end to allow additional ambient fluid to be sucked into the diffuser.

AIR DIFFUSER FOR LOCALIZED CLIMATE CONTROL

An air diffuser of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a mixing chamber having a circulation inlet and a mixing region, a room air intake fluidly coupled with the circulation inlet and separated from the mixing region by a blank-off plate, and a nozzle. The nozzle is disposed adjacent to the circulation inlet and configured to accelerate a conditioned air flow into the mixing region such that unconditioned room air is induced by the conditioned air flow to enter the mixing region through the circulation inlet and from the room air intake.

Fan assembly

A fan assembly includes a nozzle having a first casing section, a second casing section, an air inlet, an air outlet, and an interior passage for conveying air from the air inlet to the air outlet. The nozzle defines a bore through which air from outside the fan assembly is drawn by air emitted from the nozzle. The nozzle is detachably mounted on a body including a motor and impeller unit for generating an air flow through the interior passage, and a humidifier for humidifying the air flow before it enters the interior passage. The first casing section defines, at least in part, the interior passage, and is detachable from the second casing section to allow the interior passage to be accessed by a user for cleaning.
