ROOM AIR PURIFIER WITH RFID READER
A room air purifier including an RFID reader and a wireless communication unit, and methods of using such a room air purifier.
Apparatus coupled to an air-circulating device to reduce temperature of a room or surrounding
An apparatus coupled to an air-circulating device for reducing temperature of a surrounding is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a tray and upstanding sidewalls coupled to the tray. The upstanding sidewalls are covered with moss or any other suitable absorbent material. The apparatus comprises a pump provided at the bottom of the tray. Further, the apparatus comprises a hose in which one end of the hose is coupled to the pump. The apparatus comprises a canvas or any other suitable flexible material provided on the upstanding sidewalls and a lid provided at the top of the upstanding sidewalls and coupled to the canvas or any other suitable flexible material. The apparatus is placed behind the air-circulating device, wherein water stored in the tray is pumped using the pump through the hose and the water is made to fall onto the upstanding sidewalls. The air-circulating device draws air and moisture/water from the apparatus and directs the air current in a desired direction.
CONDENSATE COLLECTING BASE MEMBER FOR A HEATING AND COOLING UNIT
A base member includes a substantially horizontal main body that supports one or more components of a heating and cooling unit. The main body includes a conditioned space portion about a first side of the main body and a non-conditional space portion about a second side of the main body. A substantially vertical separation wall extends up from the main body and separates the conditioned space portion from the non-conditioned space portion. A lip is formed at least partially about the non-conditioned space portion. At least one drainage hole extends through the non-conditioned space portion. A surface of the non-conditioned space portion is sloped towards the at least one drainage hole. A drain pan is disposed about the conditioned space portion. At least one drainage tube is in fluid communication with the drain pan. A surface of the drain pan is sloped towards the at least one drainage tube.
AIR CONDITIONER VENTILATION DEVICE AND AIR CONDITIONER VENTILATION METHOD
An outdoor-heat-exchanger ventilation channel definer defines an outdoor-heat-exchanger ventilation channel in which an outdoor heat exchanger is located. The outdoor-heat-exchanger ventilation channel definer has a first outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet, an outdoor-heat-exchanger outlet, and a second outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet. The first outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet and the outdoor-heat-exchanger outlet each are connected to an exterior space. The second outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet is connected to a target room. An outdoor fan creates an airflow in the outdoor-heat-exchanger ventilation channel. The airflow includes outdoor air in the exterior space drawn through the first outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet and indoor air in the target room drawn through the second outdoor-heat-exchanger inlet, passing through the outdoor heat exchanger, and discharged to the exterior space through the outdoor-heat-exchanger outlet.

OZONE CABINET
A decontamination appliance includes a control cabinet having a control circuit and a decontamination cabinet. The appliance also includes an ozone generator that supplies ozone to the decontamination cabinet. The ozone generator is controlled by the control circuit. A hydrogen peroxide vaporizer is also controlled by the control circuit. A circulation fan circulates a stream of air through the decontamination cabinet. The circulation fan circulates ozone generated from the ozone generator and hydrogen peroxide paper generated from the hydrogen peroxide vaporizer. The decontamination cabinet further has includes trays mounted on a tray rack, and the appliance is mounted on wheels for portable use. The decontamination appliance also preferably includes a humidifier.
Room air purifier with RFID reader
A room air purifier comprises housing (9), air filter (100), RFID reader (143), RFID tag (120), and a wireless communication unit (142). A method is how to operating the room air purifier.
Air purifier with dual exit paths
An air purifier including an air filter, an air movement device configured to move air at least partially in an axial direction and through the filter, and a first exit path in fluid communication with the air movement device. The first exit path is configured such that at least part of the air moved by the air movement device exits the first exit path generally in the axial direction. The air purifier further includes a second exit path in fluid communication with the air movement device and configured such that at least part of the air moved by the air movement device exits the second exit path at an angle of between about 10 degrees and about 45 degrees relative to air exiting the first exit path.
Low Profile Fan and Method of Using Same
A method includes providing a fan unit that has an elongate housing and supports that support the fan unit on a support surface. The elongate housing has an intake, a discharge, and a hollow interior in which a blower is rotatably disposed such that when the fan unit is energized, the blower draws air from the intake into the hollow interior and discharges air from hollow interior through the discharge. The intake has a length that extends in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing. The discharge has a length that extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing. A user is directed to place the fan unit on the support surface in a manner such that the fan is supported by the supports and the longitudinal axis of the housing is horizontal.
