Air conditioner
Provided is an air conditioner including a housing, a suction port disposed in the housing, a first discharge port disposed in the housing to discharge a part of air sucked through the suction port, and a second discharge port disposed in the housing to discharge other part of air sucked through the suction port, a heat exchanger configured to perform heat-exchange on the part of air sucked through the suction port, a first blowing fan configured to suck the part of air, which is sucked through the suction port, to discharge the sucked air to the first discharge port, and an intermediate member configured to guide the part of air sucked through the suction port to the heat exchanger, and configured to separate other part of air s sucked through the suction port from the part of air sucked through the suction port.
Window Air Conditioner Support Apparatus and Method
A support for mounting an air conditioner for operative disposition in a window, while being free of any supports external to the window and of any metallic contact with the window, includes elongated top and bottom members of lightweight polymeric molded construction, sized and shaped to extend along an interior window sill of the window, with opposite ends thereof extending beyond vertical side jambs of the window. First and second transverse members of polymeric molded construction extend between the top and bottom members to define a receptacle sized and shaped to slidably receive the air conditioner therein and to interferingly engage an elongated flange extending along an upper surface of the air conditioner. The top and bottom members include molded hand-holds and demarcations/score lines to facilitate trimming to desired widths.
Funnel System for Window Mounted A/C Units
A funnel system for redirecting cool air from a window-mounted, air conditioner helps to cool another room effectively without requiring a second a/c unit in the other room. The funnel system is telescopingly adjustable to mount to different sized a/c units from different makers. The system utilizes a unique rail without damaging or modifying the a/c window unit.
MULTI-LAYER WALL SLEEVE FOR A PACKAGED TERMINAL AIR CONDITIONER UNIT
A packaged terminal air conditioner unit includes a bulkhead and a sealed system mounted at least partially within a wall sleeve. The wall sleeve is positioned in an opening on the side of a building and includes at least a portion that includes a plurality of layers formed from at least two materials. For example, the wall sleeve may include inner and outer metal layers sandwiching a middle layer of viscoelastic polymer material for damping noise generated by the sealed system during operation.
AREA-SPECIFIC ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided an area-specific environment management system, which manages an environment in an individual one of a plurality of areas, the system including: a biological information sensor that acquires biological information about at least one of an individual and a group who belongs to an individual one of the areas; an environmental information sensor that acquires environmental information about an individual one of the areas; an arousal level estimation section that estimates an arousal level with respect to the biological information by using an arousal level estimation model; and an environment provision section that provides an environment to an individual one of the areas based on the arousal level and the environmental information, wherein the arousal level includes, as a state to which the arousal level belongs, a state from sleepy until awakened; a wakeful state; and an excessively wakeful state, and wherein the environment provision section includes an individual control mode corresponding to a state to which the arousal level belongs and manages an environment to be provided to an individual one of the areas based on the control mode.
Fan and air-conditioning device
A fan includes an impeller including a boss that is a rotation center, and a plurality of blades that are provided on an outer peripheral surface of the boss; a motor and a motor fixing portion rotationally driving the impeller; a housing accommodating the impeller; a plurality of stationary blades disposed downstream of the impeller and connecting the motor fixing and the housing; and a connecting portion disposed between the housing and a rotation axis of the impeller, and extending in a rotation direction of the impeller and connecting the plurality of stationary blades. The connecting portion has a recessed portion for passing wind that flows in a radial direction of the impeller.
