An Electronically-Controlled Register vent (ECRV) that can be easily installed by a homeowner or general handyman is disclosed. The ECRV can be used to convert a non-zoned HVAC system into a zoned system. The ECRV can also be used in connection with a conventional zoned HVAC system to provide additional control and additional zones not provided by the conventional zoned HVAC system. In one embodiment, the ECRV is configured have a size and form-factor that conforms to a standard manually-controlled register vent. In one embodiment, a zone thermostat is configured to provide thermostat information to the ECRV. In one embodiment, the zone thermostat communicates with a central monitoring system that coordinates operation of the heating and cooling zones.

The clamp includes a plurality of planar members forming two oppositely facing channels. A first channel engages the air conditioning unit rail while a second channel engages the window sash of the window. The clamp further includes two fasteners to abut the window sash and the air conditioning unit rail. The clamp therefore prevents the window from being opened and the air conditioning unit from being pushed through the window.

An air conditioner circulation apparatus includes a receiving tank (2) provided with an air channel (22), an active carbon (3) mounted in the receiving tank, and an air blower housing (4) connected to the air channel. The receiving tank collects water drained from an air conditioner. A hot air drained from the air conditioner is sucked into the air blower housing, and is delivered through the air channel into the bottom of the receiving tank. The active carbon filters impurities in the hot air. The water collected in the receiving tank cools and returns the hot air into a cooled air which has a normal temperature, and purifies the cooled air to release a clean air. Thus, the water and the hot air drained from the air conditioner are removed, and the fresh clean air is generated.

INDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER

An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes: a bottom shell, at least two air passages (11) are provided abreast in the bottom shell (1); an air passage cover plate (2), provided on the at least two air passages (11) in a covering manner, flow guide openings (21) corresponding to the at least two air passages (11) are provided in the air passage cover plate (2) respectively; at least two centrifugal fans (3), provided in the at least two air passages (11) respectively and provided opposite to the corresponding flow guide openings (21); and an evaporator (4), provided on a side, far away from the bottom shell (1), of the air passage cover plate (2), each of the flow guide openings (21) is provided opposite to the evaporator (4).

FAN AND AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE

A fan includes an impeller including a boss that is a rotation center, and a plurality of blades that are provided on an outer peripheral surface of the boss; a motor and a motor fixing portion rotationally driving the impeller; a housing accommodating the impeller; a plurality of stationary blades disposed downstream of the impeller and connecting the motor fixing and the housing; and a connecting portion disposed between the housing and a rotation axis of the impeller, and extending in a rotation direction of the impeller and connecting the plurality of stationary blades. The connecting portion has a recessed portion for passing wind that flows in a radial direction of the impeller.

High efficiency cooling system

A cooling system has a cabinet and a plurality of separate cooling stages including an upstream cooling stage and a downstream cooling stage. At least the upstream cooling state is a variable capacity cooling stage. Each cooling stage has a cooling circuit. Evaporators of the cooling circuits are arranged in the cabinet so that air passes over them in serial fashion. A controller when a Call for Cooling first reaches a point where cooling is needed, operating the upstream cooling circuit to provide cooling and not the downstream cooling circuit. When the Call for Cooling has increased to a second point, the controller additionally operates the downstream cooling circuit to provide cooling. The cooling capacity at which the upstream cooling circuit is being operated is less than its full capacity when the Call for Cooling reaches the second point.
