An AC window security device is provided, comprising: a sill plate bracket, a cross-bar, a pair of U-brackets, and a pair of J-brackets. The sill plate bracket is configured to be secured to a window sill under a window AC unit in an at least partially open window. The lower end of each U-bracket hooks into an opening in one end of the sill plate bracket and extend vertically along a side of the AC unit. The upper end of each J-bracket fits over an upper frame of the at least partially open window. The upper end of each U-bracket is removably secured to the lower end of a corresponding J-bracket. The cross-bar is configured to be positioned along a top surface of the AC unit and removably secured to both U-brackets, wherein the at least partially open window is prevented from being opened.

DESIGN METHOD OF INTEGRATED BOX-TYPE SELF-CONTAINED MACHINE ROOM

The present invention discloses a design method of an integrated box-type self-contained machine room. The design method comprises the following steps: firstly, selecting equipment parts in line with needs according to requirements of a design drawing for an HVAC system; secondly, optimizing, assembling and connecting the equipment parts, except a host air conditioner, a boiler and a cooling tower; thirdly, integrating the optimized, assembled and connected equipment parts into a protective housing; and finally, integrally testing a water pressure of the protective housing, the equipment parts and joints after washing the protective housing, the equipment parts and the joints, and transporting the same to an installation site of the HVAC system after the water pressure test passes the inspection. The method provided by the invention can improve the installation efficiency of an HVAC machine room and shorten the installation period of the HVAC machine room.

A packaged terminal air conditioner unit is provided. The packaged terminal air conditioner unit includes a casing. A compressor, an interior coil, an exterior coil and a reversing valve are positioned within the casing. The reversing valve is configured for selectively reversing a flow direction of compressed refrigerant from the compressor. The packaged terminal air conditioner also includes at least one ejector for combining a stream of refrigerant from a primary loop with a stream of refrigerant from an auxiliary cooling loop, thereby improving system efficiency.

An air conditioning system is provided. The air conditioning system can include an air conditioner unit having a linear transformer and a switching circuit. The linear transformer can include a plurality of primary windings and at least one secondary winding, and the switching circuit can be coupled to the plurality of primary windings. The air conditioning system can include a remote user interface coupled to the at least one secondary winding and a controller operably coupled to the air conditioner unit and the remote user interface. The controller can be configured to control output voltage from the air conditioner unit to the remote user interface by monitoring one or more operational parameters of the air conditioning system, determining a selected winding of the plurality of primary windings based at least in part on the one or more operational parameters, and configuring the linear transformer to operate with the selected winding.

Packaged Air Conditioning System Having Multiple Utility Connectivity

One aspect of this disclosure provides a packaged air conditioning & heating (PACH) system that comprises a housing, an air cooling system contained within the housing and an air heating system contained within the housing. A first utility access point is located on a first side of the housing and a second utility access point is located on a second side of the housing. Air conditioner units and operating methods are provided. A unit includes an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, and a compressor. The unit further includes a bulkhead disposed between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger. The unit further includes a vent aperture defined in the bulkhead. The unit further includes a dehumidification system which includes an evaporator, a condenser, and an auxiliary compressor in fluid communication with the evaporator and the condenser. The unit further includes a humidity sensor disposed within the outdoor portion, and a controller in communication with the compressor, the auxiliary compressor and the humidity sensor. The controller is configured to deactivate the auxiliary compressor when the compressor is active and an outdoor humidity level sensed by the humidity sensor is above a predetermined humidity threshold.
