Chilled beam module, system, and method
Multiple-zone chilled beam air conditioning systems for cooling multiple-zone spaces, methods of controlling chilled beams in multi-zone air conditioning systems, and chilled-beam modules for controlling zones of a chilled-beam heating and air conditioning system. Embodiments include a pump serving each zone that both recirculates water within the module and chilled beam and circulates water in and out of a chilled water distribution system through one or more valves to control the temperature of the water delivered to the chilled beams. Different embodiments adjust the temperature of the beam to avoid condensation, change pump speed to save energy or increase capacity, provide heating as well as cooling, use check valves to reduce the number of control valves required, can be used in two- or four-pipe systems, or a combination thereof.
Packaging with a Safety Opening
Packaging with a safety opening, for containing products with restricted access. The packaging comprises an outer casing (4) with an outer body (5) equipped with a front portion with a front opening (6), a container (1) with a container body (3) with a front portion and which is intended to contain a product (2), the container (1) being slidable within the housing (4) through the opening (6) and at least one elongated protrusion (7) protruding from the container body (3) in the front portion of the container body (3). The casing (4) comprises, in correspondence with each protrusion (7), a recess (8) in the front portion of the outer body (5) in order to house the corresponding protrusion (7). In the closed position, each protrusion (7) does not protrude from the recess (8) thereof or from the outer body (5).
Radiant Panel with Fresh Air
The invention is, in one aspect, a system for heating or cooling a room, including a radiant panel with fluid conduit, which, radiates energy to a room. A heat exchange device exchanges energy between the fluid in the radiant panel and an exchange medium. A vent allows fresh air to enter a room, moved by a fan. The fan propels the air through a chamber for heating or cooling the air, wherein the chamber at least partially comprises the radiant panel.
Radiant Air Conditioning System for Controlling Comfortable and Healthy Indoor Environment Based on Infrared Sensing Technology
A radiant air conditioning system for controlling comfortable and healthy indoor environment based on infrared sensing technology is disclosed, which comprises air source heat pump outdoor unit, plate evaporator, circulating water pump, etc. Accurate control of air humidity by installing an indoor dehumidification terminal can reduce the surface temperature of radiant cooling terminal and increase the installed area, which will significantly improve the radiant heat exchange between the terminal surface and the human body surface. Infrared sensor technology, which is adopted to obtain the number of indoor occupants and the required outdoor air flow rate, is integrated with a decoupling control of the indoor humidity and air freshness for the accurate control of outdoor air flow rate, and then the supply outdoor air temperature and humidity are regulated for the accurate control of indoor health level.
BUILDING SYSTEM
A building system comprising of a plurality of panels wherein the building system is configured to be either superposed an existing structure or a ground surface. The plurality of panels of the building system are shaped so as to be mateable when place adjacent to each other. The panels include a bottom and walls that form an interior volume. The bottom and walls of the panels are manufactured from a thermally conductive material such as but not limited to metal. The interior volume of the panels are filled with a lightweight structural material such as but not limited to polyurethane foam or autoclaved concrete. A first temperature source is disposed within the panels and is configured to have a fluid pass therethrough. A second temperature source is present and is a heating element. The panels are operable to utilize either temperature sources.
Radiant Panel with Heat Exchange Device
The invention is an apparatus for heating or cooling a room of a building. The apparatus includes a radiant panel supported on a wall, which radiates energy to or from a room. The radiant panel has a conduit for passage of a fluid. The invention also includes a heat exchange device which heats or cools the fluid, which is installed inside the wall between two studs. A first line and second line connect the inlet and outlet to the heat exchange device. A pump that pumps the fluid that is heated or cooled by the heat exchange, whereby the room is heated or cooled depending on whether the fluid is heated or cooled by the heat exchange device.
Radiant Panel with Exterior Heat Exchange Device
An apparatus for heating or cooling a room of a building with an exterior wall includes a radiant panel supported on an exterior wall, which includes a fluid conduit for passage of a fluid. The fluid enters through an inlet and exits through an outlet of the radiant panel and goes through a transmission tube and into a heat exchanger, which is located on the exterior side of the wall. The fluid then flows through the transmission tube and enters the inlet of the radiant panel.
CONTROLLER, RADIATIVE AIR-CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT, AND CONTROL METHOD
A controller controls a radiative air-conditioning equipment which cools or heats space separated from indoor, space by a radiation panel, with an air conditioner, so as to cool or heat the indoor space by a radiation effect of the radiation panel. A data collection unit collects indoor environment data and panel temperature data from an indoor environment measurement sensor and a radiation panel measurement sensor, respectively. A heat quantity determination unit acquires panel characteristics data and device characteristics data, and determines a time-series pattern of a heat quantity to be processed by the radiative air-conditioning equipment based on the acquired data and the data collected by the data collection unit. An operation instruction unit gives to the air conditioner an instruction for operating the air conditioner according to the time-series pattern determined by the heat quantity determination unit
