The invention concerns a swimming float presenting an upper wall whereon the distal part of an arm of a user is intended to be fixed and a lower propelling wing, the float being equipped with at least one fixing device comprising at least one strap which is arranged to be able to support the distal part on said upper wall, the fixing device having at least one loop and an adjusting element, each one connected to the upper wall being spaced out transversally on both sides of the upper wall, the strap being joined sliding into the loop while presenting a free end which is arranged to be able to be bound in the adjusting element by adjusting the size between the strap and the upper wall.

Moreover, the hand-held paddle apparatuses are hinged to reduce the surface area interacting with the fluid when the paddle apparatuses move in one direction, and to open to increase the surface area interacting with the fluid in an opposite direction.

A first flipper has a base, a deformable fin connected to the base, and a first spreader that imposes a first force on the fin that causes the fin to spread in response to relative movement between the first spreader and the fin caused by a first longitudinal deflection of the fin relative to the base. A second flipper has a fin and a foot coupling portion connectable to a foot holding portion of a boot to couple a foot in the foot holding portion to the flipper. A first system includes the flipper and the boot. Methods of using the flippers, the boot, and the system are also disclosed.

Powered-arm swimming aid
This invention is related to an apparatus and a method for aquatic propulsion by use of a swimming aid comprising an anchoring article and handles that are compressed and retracted in a scissor-like fashion by a User. This inward and outward motion translates by way of a pivot point to the other end of the handle, causing another set of arms operably connected to the anchoring article by way of two sets of straps, to pivot in a manner perpendicular to the motion of the handles, thus causing two vertical fins to move laterally through the water, displacing water, and propelling the user in a forward direction. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, foldable fin arms are attached to the second set of arms that is manipulated by the straps.

This disclosure relates to systems, media, and methods for quantifying and monitoring exercise parameters and/or motion parameters, including performing data acquisition, analysis, and providing scientifically valid, clinically relevant, and/or actionable diagnostic feedback. Disclosed embodiments may receive real-time sensor data from a motion sensor or sensors mounted on a user and/or equipment while a user performs a test motion. Disclosed embodiments may also calculate a test motion profile based on the real-time sensor data, the test motion profile describing a multi-dimensional representation of the test motion performed by the user or computed motion profiles. Disclosed embodiments may include comparing the test motion profile to a template motion profile to determine a deviation amount for the test motion profile indicating how the test motion deviated from the template motion profile. Still further embodiments may correlate test motion profiles over time with health indicators.
