OXYGEN ENHANCEMENT OF A ROOM AND HVAC SYSTEM FOR SAME
An HVAC system having a fan coil and an oxygen concentrator.
HVAC SYSTEM
A single unit HVAC system for a unit in a multi-unit building comprises a first heat exchanger thermally connected to a riser stack, a plurality of fan coils, each fan coil comprising a unit heat exchanger and a motor and fan assembly wherein, in operation, the motor and fan assembly delivers air to a location in the unit, and a closed loop fluid flow path extending between the first heat exchanger and the plurality of unit heat exchangers. In operation, the first heat exchanger exchanges heat between the riser stack fluid and the closed loop fluid, each unit heat exchanger exchanges heat between the closed loop fluid and air that is delivered to a different room in the unit.
AIR PURIFYING SYSTEM
An air purifying system includes: a carbon dioxide remover including first and second spaces partitioned by a gas permeable membrane with 50 nm or less diameter micropores; a feed passage leading to-be-purified air from a room to the first space; a supply passage supplying clean gas having lower carbon dioxide and higher oxygen concentrations than the to-be-purified air to the second space; a discharge passage discharging, from the second space, mixed gas; a return passage leading purified air from the first space into the room, the purified air resulting from removing carbon dioxide from the to-be-purified air; and adjusting equipment adjusting a gas pressure in the first and second spaces to be substantially equal to each other. The to-be-purified air flows in the first space along a surface of the gas permeable membrane, and the clean gas flows in the second space along a surface of the gas permeable membrane.
INTERNAL AIR ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
An internal air adjustment device supplies low-oxygen-concentration air to a storage, and maintains the oxygen concentration of internal air in a target oxygen concentration range that is lower than a reference concentration. The internal air adjustment device performs an oxygen-concentration restoration operation. The oxygen-concentration restoration operation is an operation of increasing the oxygen concentration of the internal air to the reference concentration from the target oxygen concentration range. In the oxygen-concentration restoration operation, a controller of the internal air adjustment device regulates the flow rate of external air that is supplied into the interior of the storage.
ENERGY-INDEPENDENT WATER-BASED PURE AIR CLEANING SYSTEM USING WATER ELECTROLYTIC-FUEL CELL
An energy-independent water-based pure air cleaning system using a water electrolytic-fuel cell is disclosed. The energy-independent water-based pure air cleaning system using a water electrolytic-fuel cell proposed by the present invention comprises: a water electrolysis unit that generates hydrogen and oxygen through a water electrolysis treatment using supplied water, and supplies hydrogen gas to an energy generating unit by adjusting the pressure of the generated hydrogen gas; the energy generating unit that generates electrical energy on the basis of the hydrogen gas supplied for use as a power source for air purification; an energy storage unit that does not need energy charging and supplies the generated electrical energy as power for air purification; an oxygen exhaust port for discharging the oxygen generated in the water electrolysis unit for air purification; and a humidifier that generates water vapor by spraying or evaporating the supplied water by any one of ultrasonic vibration, heating, natural evaporation, or nozzles to control the humidity in a room.
AIR CONDITIONER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed is an air conditioner for creating a comfortable indoor environment. The air conditioner includes an indoor unit configured to have a carbon dioxide remover for filtering carbon dioxide from indoor air to supply clean air into a room, and discharging the filtered carbon dioxide to the outside, an outdoor unit configured to have an oxygen generator for separating oxygen from outdoor air introduced from the outside to supply the separated oxygen into the room, and discharging residues from which the oxygen is separated to the outside; and a processor configured to control the carbon dioxide remover and the oxygen generator to discharge the filtered carbon dioxide and the residues to the outdoor together. According to the disclosure, by first removing the carbon dioxide from the room and then discharging the carbon dioxide and the residues while operating the oxygen generator, a piping installation operation by a simple piping structure as well as an efficient operation is possible.
