Disclosed is an air cleaner, more specifically, an air cleaner including a blower that inhales air from the outside, filters the inhaled air, and discharges the filtered air, a flow adjusting device disposed on the blower to inhale the air discharged from the blower, adjust a discharge direction of the inhaled air, and discharge the air, and a guide member disposed below the flow adjusting device to change a state of the flow adjusting device. The guide member may include a plurality of gears arranged inside the guide member to be rotatable, some of the plurality of gears may be connected to each other to be rotatable in engagement with each other, and the flow adjusting device may change the discharge direction of the air by rotations of the plurality of gears of the guide member.

An air purifying system may include a main air purifier that has a flat upper surface configured to support at least two cylindrical portable air purifiers. Each of the main and portable air purifiers may have a fan to suction air and a filter to filter suctioned air. The upper surface of the main air purifier may include a seating groove, an elastic member provided in the seating groove, and a seating plate resting on top of the elastic member. When a portable air purifier is seated on the seating groove, the elastic member may be compressed and the seating plate may be lowered such that the portable air purifier may be supported within an inner wall of the seating groove. When the portable air purifier is removed from the seating groove, the elastic member may expand and raise the seating plate back to an initial position.

A handheld air purifier may include a suction body provided with a fan to suction air and a filter to filter foreign matter from the sucked air, a handle extending from the suction body, and an agitator provided in the suction body to loosen or scatter dust from a garment. The handheld air purifier may be configured to be attached to and detached from a main air purifier, and the main air purifier may suction dust off the handheld air purifier and sterilize the handheld air purifier when the handheld air purifier is mounted on the main air purifier. The agitator of the handheld air purifier may have a striking member exposed through a lower surface of the suction body, and may move out of and into the suction body to strike the garment so that the dust may be loosened and suctioned into the suction body and filtered by the filter.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING SPREAD OF AIR-BORNE CONTAMINANTS
An apparatus is provided for preventing the spread of air-borne contaminants in a defined space. The apparatus comprises an air flow outlet adjacent to or within the defined space, an air flow inlet adjacent to or within the defined space, and a conduit for transporting air from the air flow inlet to the air flow outlet. An air treatment module is provided within or adjacent the conduit for extracting air-borne contaminants from air transported from the air flow inlet to the air flow outlet. The air flow outlet deposits air into the defined space substantially evenly across an outlet area.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING SPREAD OF AIR-BORNE CONTAMINANTS
An apparatus is provided for preventing the spread of air-borne contaminants in a defined space. Disclosed is an air cleaner, more specifically, an air cleaner including a blower that inhales air from the outside, and filters the inhaled air, and discharges the filtered air, a flow adjusting device disposed on the blower to inhale the air discharged from the blower, adjust a discharge direction of the inhaled air, and discharge the air, and a guide member disposed below the flow adjusting device to change a state of the flow adjusting device. An angle formed between a top surface of the flow adjusting device and a top surface of the blower may increase or decrease based on operations of the plurality of links, so that the state of the flow adjusting device may be changed from an orientation in which the top surface of the flow adjusting device is horizontal with the top surface of the blower to an orientation in which the top surface of the flow adjusting device is perpendicular to the top surface of the blower.
