Flotation Device

A flotation device, particularly suitable for use as a pull buoy or a kickboard is described. The flotation device can include a flotation element and a stem element, which extends from an inner surface of the flotation element. A holding mechanism can be located adjacent to the second end of the stem element. The stem element and holding mechanism can be configured to enable a user to hold onto the flotation device at a point below the surface of the water for use as a kickboard or enable a user to secure the stem element of the flotation device between his/her legs for use as a pull buoy. An embodiment of the stem element can be tapered, which can create forces that assist the user in using the flotation device as either a pull buoy or a kickboard.

Buoyancy assistance kit

A buoyancy assistance kit including a belt for surrounding part of the trunk of a user and two armbands each surrounding part of an arm of said user respectively, the belt and the armbands each including at least one element arranged so as to ensure a buoyancy assistance function, each armband being connected to said belt by an element, each element having an elasticity which allows the relative position of the armband to be adapted in relation to the belt when being worn.

SWIM TRAINING APPARATUS FOR BILATERAL UNDULATION POWER DEVELOPMENT

A swim training apparatus for use as a monofin for bilateral undulation power development. The apparatus includes a flexible, elongated member having a series of securing members, such as through-holes extending from the top surface of the elongated member through to its bottom surface, and fasteners configured and disposed to attach to the securing member, such as straps that can extend through the through-holes, to fasten the apparatus to a user's legs. A weight can be attached using similar attachments and fasteners to the apparatus to increase undulation during use.

PROSTHETIC FIN
20240325825 · 2024-10-03 · ·

A fin that includes a flared fin body and a strap feature that is configured to wrap around a residual limb or an amputee thereby allowing the amputee to fin kick in an aquatic environment with the fin attached to the residual limb. The strap feature is preferably perpendicular to the elongated direction of the flared fin body and can include multiple band structures along with any number or release mechanisms. The back portion of the fin is open and void of obstruction allowing the residual limb of the amputee to be inserted under the strap feature and with the flared fin body cupping the residual limb.

A scaly structure including a carrier and multiple scale films configured on the carrier. The scale films are arranged independently and each has a proximal end that is connected to the carrier and a distal end that is away from the carrier and suspended, and the scale films are bent towards the carrier in the same direction. The scaly structure of the present invention has small friction when it is in smooth position, and the scale structure will be turned and opened oppositely to the bending direction when it is in tough position, bringing increased friction to obstruct the movement.
