An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus has a roof part installed at a front of a front panel of a casing and above an opening hole and extending in a width direction of the casing, and an outlet grille fixed to the casing and covering the opening hole. The roof part has a main roof portion that extends further forward than the front panel, and a sub-roof portion that extends downward and forward from the main roof portion and has a recession formed between a bottom face of the main roof portion and the sub-roof portion. The outlet grille is located such that an upper end portion of the outlet grille is in contact with the recession. The front panel and the upper end portion of the outlet grille sandwich the roof part.

Wall port cover retention assembly

There is provided a wall port cover to be installed in building wall ports. Wall ports are simply openings in a wall or ceiling of a building which may be used to house electrical panels, HVAC systems, access panels, lighting switches, and the like. The wall port cover comprises an engagement means which is rotatable between an engaging position and a releasing position. In the engaging position, the engaging means extend beyond the wall port cover to engage a top surface of the wall or ceiling drywall panel to support and retain the wall port cover within the vent opening. In the releasing position, the engaging means are retracted within the wall port cover to disengage from the top surface of the wall or ceiling drywall panel to allow the wall port cover to be removed from the vent openings.

Ventilation Fan with Replaceable Panel

A ventilation fan unit for causing air flow with respect to a room having a ceiling, the room designed for occupancy by a person. The fan unit has a fan unit housing mounted in the ceiling and having an air vent on a room facing surface of the fan unit housing for drawing air from or delivering air to the room. A replaceable panel is provided with a first surface and a second surface, the replaceable panel is removably attachable with the room facing surface of the fan unit housing by way of coupling between the replaceable panel and the fan unit housing so that the replaceable panel can be removed and replaced with another replaceable panel attachable to the fan unit housing by way of the coupling. The replaceable panel, when attached to the fan unit housing, is positioned to obstruct the person's view of the air vent while allowing flow of air therethrough

AIR CONDITIONER

An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger, a fan and a fan case in which the fan is accommodated. The fan case includes an inlet opening through which air sucked by the fan enters the fan and an outlet opening through which the air that entered the fan is blown by the fan to be discharged from the fan case. An air guide is spaced from a lower end portion of the outlet opening to form a gap through which the air flows to guide the air to a down direction. The air guide includes an inclined portion inclined downward toward an outer side in a lateral direction to guide air to the lateral direction.

Fluid treatment apparatus

A fluid treatment apparatus including a photocatalyst filter having a first surface and a second surface, a light source unit spaced apart from the photocatalyst filter to provide light to the first surface, a housing including an inlet, an outlet, and a flow path formed between the photocatalyst filter and the light source, and a guide member disposed at one side of the housing and including at least one slat to guide a movement direction of a fluid, in which the slat is inclined at least in a direction closer to the first surface of the photocatalyst filter along an advancing direction of the flow path when an air flow rate of the fluid has a first value, and in a direction away from the first surface of the photocatalyst filter along the advancing direction when the air flow rate of the fluid is greater than the first value.
