Automated Chemical Injection Device
A system for automizing an injection of a chemical treatment into an effluent drain line may include a containment tank, an injection pump disposed within the containment tank, at least one level switch disposed on or inside the containment tank, a flow line disposed at least partially within the containment tank, at least one flow meter disposed along the flow line, and a microcontroller. The microcontroller is configured to: maintain an off-time cycle, transmit a signal to the injection pump to pump a volume of chemical treatment stored in the containment tank into the flow line after the off-time cycle ends, track the volume of chemical treatment passing through the flow line with the at least one flow meter to produce a flow rate, inject the volume of chemical treatment from the flow line into an effluent drain line, track a current volume of the containment tank with the at least one level, and restart the off-time cycle.
Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus and air-conditioning apparatus
An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a heat-medium heat exchanger, an air vent valve, a drain pan, and a hose. The heat-medium heat exchanger is provided in a housing to cause heat exchange to be performed between a heat medium and indoor air. The air vent valve allows air to escape from a heat medium passage that allows the heat medium to flow in the heat-medium heat exchanger. The drain pan is provided below the heat-medium heat exchanger to receive condensation water generated at a surface of the heat-medium heat exchanger. The hose has flexibility, and is attached to the air vent valve, and provided to let out the air along with the heat medium from the heat medium passage to the inner space in the drain pan. The hose has a double-wall structure and an upper end portion of the hose is fixed to the air vent valve.
VENTILATION APPARATUS AND VENTILATION SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A ventilation apparatus including a housing having an inlet flow path to discharge outdoor air, to an indoor space through a first outlet, and an outlet flow path to discharge indoor air, to an outdoor space through a second outlet, a total enthalpy heat exchanger in which air flowing along the inlet flow path and air flowing along the outlet flow path exchange heat, and a heat exchanger to remove moisture in the air flowing along the inlet flow path. The housing including a connection flow path connecting the inlet flow path to the outlet flow path, and a connection path opening and closing unit configured to selectively open and close the connection flow path. The connection flow path to allow indoor air, to pass through the heat exchanger and flow to the first outlet while preventing the indoor air from flowing to the total enthalpy heat exchanger.
Air handling unit with integral inner wall features
An air handling unit has an interior wall configured to selectively retain a removable component of the air handling unit. An air handling unit has an interior wall configured as a drain pan. An air handling unit has an outer skin joined to the interior wall, an insulator disposed between the interior wall and the outer skin, and the interior wall has a mounting channel configured to selectively retain a removable component of the air handling unit.

HVAC/R condensate trap
A condensate trap for providing improved gas seal to a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) system. The trap can include an interior reservoir containing a volume of fluid to create a gas seal between an inlet pathway and an output. The interior reservoir can be accessed through an access port, by removing a removable cover, for maintenance and inspection. The trap can include vents or vent precursors for aiding in drainage of excess fluid, as well as early detection of problem conditions. The trap can be made from modified parts put together in a specific manner, or through purpose-built parts. The trap can include liquid level sensors and inspection windows to aid in early detection of problem conditions.
Air conditioner with condensation drain assembly and improved filter rack
A condensate drain assembly includes a drain pan configured to receive condensate from an evaporator coil of an air conditioning system. The drain pan is configured to be removed from the air conditioning system. The condensate drain assembly also includes a drainage pipe configured to translate the condensate from the drain pan to a drain located beneath the air conditioning system and a drain pan end cap. The drain pan end cap includes a first aperture configured to drain the condensate from the drain pan and a second aperture configured to align with the drainage pipe.
Drug-containing capsule, and component for air treatment device
A drug-containing capsule (20, 30, 40) includes a capsule material (21, 31, 41) and a drug (22, 32, 42) disposed within the capsule material (21, 31, 41) and having a sterilization action for a specific microorganism. The capsule material (21, 31, 41) includes a degradable part (21a, 31a, 41a) formed of a raw material that is caused to biodegrade by the specific microorganism. This results in suppression of release of the drug while the specific microorganism does not proliferate.
Drainage mechanism and air conditioning system including the same
A drainage mechanism is connected to a drain pump that sucks water from a drain pan. The drainage mechanism includes a connecting part that connects to the drain pump, a first flow path, a folded part, and a second flow path. The first flow path extends upward from the connecting part. The folded part has a first end connected to an upper end of the first flow path and a second end on a side opposite to the first end. The folded part changes a direction of the water flowing therein from upward to downward. The second flow path extends from the second end. The second flow path is a pipe that has an inner diameter of 13 mm or less. The flow path area of the folded part is larger than the flow path area of the second flow path.
Dehumidifier
A dehumidifier is provided that may include a bucket; a drain pan comprising a drain passage configured to guide condensed water dropped from an evaporator to the bucket; a pump; a barrier configured to define a bucket space in which the bucket is accommodated; and a pump water inlet line and a pump water outlet line, which are connected to the pump. The pump water inlet line may include a flexible tube a portion of which is inserted into the bucket. The bucket may have an opening into which a portion of the flexible tube may be inserted. A portion of the flexible tube may be bent to be easily inserted into the bucket through the opening of the bucket.
