ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURE INTEGRAL WITH A HOUSING OF A TERMINAL UNIT
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes an airflow channel defined by a housing of the HVAC unit, an electrical enclosure defined by the housing, and a separating wall of the housing extending between and at least partially defining the airflow channel and the electrical enclosure.
MULTI-LAYER INLET DIFFUSER FOR A TERMINAL UNIT
A terminal unit of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a fan configured to provide an airflow through the HVAC unit by drawing the airflow into a fan inlet and expelling the airflow out of a fan outlet. The terminal unit also includes an inlet diffuser disposed upstream of the fan inlet relative to a direction of the airflow, wherein the inlet diffuser includes a first layer of perforated metal and a second layer of perforated metal disposed between the first layer of perforated metal and the fan inlet.
SOUND ATTENUATOR INTEGRAL WITH A HOUSING OF A TERMINAL UNIT
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes a terminal unit. The terminal unit includes a housing having a first panel bordering a return airflow path, a second panel bordering an additional airflow path, and a separating wall disposed between and bordering the return airflow path and the additional airflow path. The terminal unit also includes a sound attenuator formed by the first panel and the separating wall.
DEHUMIDIFIER WITH THERMOSIPHON ARRANGEMENT
Herein is disclosed a dehumidifier for dehumidifying ambient air in an airstream from an inlet to an exhaust from an outlet in a housing. The dehumidifier comprises an evaporator having an evaporator downstream face and an evaporator upstream face; and downstream 5 from the evaporator a condenser having a condenser downstream face and a condenser upstream face. The dehumidifier further has a thermosiphon arrangement configured to be arranged with a thermosiphon evaporator part upstream from the evaporator and a thermosiphon condenser part upstream from the condenser and downstream from the evaporator. The thermosiphon arrangement comprises a thermosiphon block configured for a refrigerant to communicate between a first header and a second header interconnected with a fluid communicator arrangement being multiple tubes, wherein the thermosiphon block is sealed and contains the refrigerant.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONDITIONING A SPACE
An induction heating and cooling unit. Included are a coil suitable to receive room air from a room to be heated or cooled; a mixer having an outside air receiver, and comprising a nozzle suitable to inject the outside air into the presence of the room air at the coil, wherein the injected outside air induces a lower pressure area behind the coil, which thereby draws the room air across the coil to mix the room air with the injected outside air; a plurality of temperature sensors capable of monitoring at least outside air temperature, a temperature of water entering the coil, a secondary water temperature of secondary water being circulated around a building perimeter, discharged air temperature; at least one valve capable of modulating an amount of the water provided to the coil; and at least one controller capable of controlling at least the modulation of the amount of water and a velocity of the injected outside air responsive to data from the plurality of temperature sensors.
Methods and systems of modifying air flow at building structures
Provided in one embodiment is a method of modifying an air flow at least one location of a building structure, comprising: generating a first air flow at the at least one location of the building structure; and modifying a second air flow exterior to the building structure using the generated first air flow. An apparatus configured to modified an air flow is also provided.

An Active Airflow Inhibiting Apparatus
An active airflow inhibiting apparatus for an entranceway comprises a structure, an airflow sensor, and a controller. The structure comprises one or more air mover devices configured to be positioned adjacent an entranceway of a building and defining a passage therethrough for accessing the entranceway. The airflow sensor is configured to provide an output indicative of speed and direction of airflow through the entranceway or at the air mover devices. The controller is connected to the air mover devices and the airflow sensor. The controller is configured to receive the output of the airflow sensor and to control an output of the air mover devices based on the received output so as to generate a differential pressure across the air mover devices which inhibits airflow through the entranceway.
