A HVAC unit protector apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may comprise a front panel, a left sidewall that maybe connected to a left side of the front panel such that the left sidewall may fold into the front panel, a right sidewall that maybe connected to a right side of the front panel such that the right sidewall may fold into the front panel, and a top panel that maybe connected to a top side of the front panel such that the top panel may fold into the front panel. The left sidewall, the right sidewall, and the top panel may be connected to the front panel via a plurality of hinges. Further, extendable arms maybe disposed at a top end and a bottom end of the left sidewall and the right sidewall.

The present invention relates to a recessed cover plate device further comprised of a front plate that attaches to a base. In differing embodiments, the base and front plate can be applied around a junction box of a wall outlet, a junction box of a light switch, an exhaust fan or any other structure of the like, such as but not limited to, an air register. The front plate further sits flush with the surface of the drywall, providing a cleaner and more aesthetic appearance. In addition, the front plate and base may be manufactured from a plurality of materials, such that the front plate matches or contrasts with the color, texture, and/or appearance of any surrounding drywall or other wall, ceiling or floor surface.

An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a housing defining an outer shape of the indoor unit, and a pipe hole-opening groove section that is in a form of grid-like grooves on an inner surface of the housing. The housing has a box-like shape and includes a lower one surface panel forming a lower end of one side surface of the housing, a one end bottom panel forming one end of a bottom surface of the housing, a lower other surface panel forming a lower end of the other side surface of the housing, and the other end bottom panel forming the other end of the bottom surface of the housing. The pipe hole-opening groove section is formed in at least one of the lower one surface panel, the one end bottom panel, the lower other surface panel, and the other end bottom panel.

An air conditioner and a control method thereof perform cooling through an outlet if room temperature or room humidity is high to reduce the room temperature or the room humidity, and closing the outlet to perform cooling at low velocity through an outlet hole if room temperature or room humidity reaches a predetermined value so that a user can little feel the wind velocity of cooling of the air conditioner, while maintaining indoor space at pleasant temperature or humidity. By performing cooling at low velocity through the outlet hole formed in the lower portion of the air conditioner, it is possible to cool the lower area of indoor space at pleasant temperature when a user is asleep.

A concealed roof vent has a base member having a primary aperture, a top panel coupled to the rear side of the base member and extending to the front side of the base member at an increasing angle, the top panel sized so as to shield the primary aperture; the top panel being coupled to the front side of the base member using one or more support legs; and at least one secondary aperture on the front side between the panel and the base member. Air from the attic passes through the primary aperture to the secondary aperture, through channels on the underside of roofing tiles, and to the atmosphere.

The invention provides a humidifier with an ultrasonic suspension atomizing head, comprising a water tank, an atomization guiding tube, an atomizing head, and a cover body; the atomization guiding tube is arranged in the water tank, and the side wall of the atomization guiding tube is provided with an opening; the atomizing head is arranged in the atomization guiding tube; the cover body is arranged on the water tank and connected to the atomization guiding tube; an atomization outlet of the cover body is communicated with the atomization guiding tube. The invention has a simple structure; by arranging an atomization guiding tube and an atomizing head, the atomized water vapor does not need to roll from the bottom of the humidifier to the water surface, which achieves a good spray effect, and at the same time, eliminates the sound when the water vapor rolls.

Operation of fastening a decorative-panel mounting screw into a screw-fastening hole of an indoor-unit body is facilitated. A decorative panel includes a decorative-panel body, a decorative-panel mounting component, and a decorative-panel mounting screw. The decorative-panel mounting screw is used to, when the decorative-panel mounting screw is inserted through a second screw-insertion hole in the decorative-panel mounting component and a first screw-insertion hole in the decorative-panel body and fastened into a screw-fastening hole, cause a first mounting plate part and a second mounting plate part included in the decorative-panel mounting component to deform such that a mounting surface part included in the decorative-panel mounting component is displaced toward an indoor-unit body, and cause a first protruding engagement part and a second protruding engagement part included in the decorative-panel mounting component to move to be closer toward each other than before the decorative-panel mounting screw is fastened into the screw-fastening hole.

An AC unit with a lifting mechanism to lift or lower the AC unit relative to an insulated duct installed at a windowsill next to an insulated and relatively thick grill is disclosed. The AC unit includes multiple air conditioning components, a thermal shield integrated inside a housing, a skirt, and the lifting mechanism. A base portion of the housing is coupled to the top frame of the lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism includes a pair of scissors pivoted to the bottom frame and the top frame. A telescopic skirt is arranged inside the bottom of the housing. The lifting mechanism ensures inlet and exhaust ports of the AC unit are aligned in a colinear fashion with respect to the duct so that the AC unit cools the condenser faster without wastage of effective air coming out of the air conditioning that would otherwise be used for cooling the room.

An air purifier configured for near-field operation so that purified air is directed toward the head of a user, enabling the user to breathe a higher percentage of purified air versus unpurified ambient air. Additional functions are included to provide enhanced functionality in a use environment, such as on a desk.

An air conditioner includes a housing. The housing includes a panel including an opening. The air conditioner further includes an indicator light arranged at the opening, an air heat exchange duct and an air treatment duct arranged in the housing and not in communication with each other, an air heat exchange device arranged at the air heat exchange duct and configured to conduct heat exchange for air in the air heat exchange duct, and an air treatment device arranged at the air treatment duct and configured to conduct at least one of humidification or purification for air in the air treatment duct.
