A blower may include a body or case having a suction hole through which air passes, a fan provided inside the body and causing a flow of air, and a filter provided inside the body. The filter may be positioned upstream of the fan and extend in a longitudinal direction of the body. A longitudinal axis of the filter may be shifted or displaced with respect to a longitudinal axis of the body.

First and second towers may discharge air. An airflow guide or converter may change a direction of the air discharged from the first tower and the second tower by moving a gate inside and outside of at least one of the first or second towers so as to block discharged air flowing forward and selectively facilitate an upward air flow. The airflow converter may include a guide motor to provide a driving force, the gate, which may reciprocate between the inside and the outside of the first and/or second towers; and a board guider connected to the gate to transmit a driving force of the guide motor to the gate as a linear motion force.

An apparatus for producing a clean air curtain to protect a first individual and a second individual from germ transfer between themselves has a housing having an input port and an output port. The apparatus comprises a fan disposed in the housing in communication with the input port to draw air into an input channel through the input port, and in communication with the output port through an output channel to force air from the input channel through the output channel and out the output port. The output channel configured to cause the air forced out the output port to create a laminar flow air curtain. The apparatus has an air filter positioned across the input channel to clean the air drawn through the input port. A method for protecting a first individual and a second individual from germ transfer between themselves with an air curtain.

A blower may include a lower case having a suction port, a fan provided inside the lower case, an upper case provided above the lower case and having a space through which air blown from the fan flows, a discharge port penetrating the upper case and formed to be elongated, and a flow guide provided in the space and extending in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the discharge port.

An air circulator includes a housing having a first inlet and a first outlet, an oblique-flow fan disposed in the housing, and a motor rotating the oblique-flow fan. An outer wall of the housing includes a first outer wall extending in a front-rear direction and a second outer wall having the first inlet and extending from an edge of the first inlet towards the first outer wall to be enlarged in a radially outward direction. An outer surface of the second outer wall comprises a first surface that extends towards the first outer wall to be rounded outwards, and forms a surface continuous with an outer surface of the first outer wall, thus guiding air flowing along an outside of the first inlet so that the air flows forwards along the outer surface of the first outer wall.

An evaporator for use in a refrigeration system includes one or more Coanda evaporation chambers having an integrated, internal expansion device. The internal expansion device is a linear atomization tube having a plurality of ejection holes arranged in a series of spiral rows. Liquid refrigerant introduced into the linear atomization to is ejected onto the inner wall of the Coanda evaporation chamber, covering it completely with a thin layer of liquid refrigerant. Liquid refrigerant is fed to the linear atomization device in a series of rapid pulses.

The ventilation regulation system comprises a ventilation duct including a ventilation opening through a separating wall of the ventilation duct. An air regulation apparatus is provided within the ventilation opening for regulating the air flow therethrough, and comprises a modular air regulation drum member that has a number of rotatable drum segments that can each rotate to adjustably block or deflect the air flow through the ventilation opening such that at least one among the direction, the speed and the debit rate of air is controlled through the ventilation opening. A mechanical coupling mechanically links the drum segments of the drum member into a coordinated rotational movement. An actuator acting on at least one, but not all, of the drum segments of the drum member, rotates one of the drum segments, with the mechanical coupling allowing all drum segments to be rotated when that one drum segment is rotated.

An air conditioner includes a housing that defines an air inlet and an air outlet, a heat exchanger, a blowing fan inside the housing, a lower guide configured to guide, toward the air outlet, air discharged to a rear side of the blowing fan and a lower side of the blowing fan, and an upper guide that is disposed vertically above the lower guide and that defines a discharge flow path with the lower guide. The discharge flow path extends from the blowing fan to the air outlet, and a cross sectional area of the discharge flow path increases toward the air outlet. The upper guide defines a curved surface that is disposed at a downstream end of the upper guide adjacent to the air outlet and that is convex toward the air outlet.

Disclosed is a ceiling type air conditioner that can implement a horizontal air flow to provide an indirect wind to a user with a simple structure. To this end, the ceiling type air conditioner according to the present disclosure includes an inner case in which a blower and a heat exchanger are built-in, and a blow passage for guiding air passed through the heat exchanger downward is formed; an inner flow path body which is disposed below the inner case and has a suction flow path for sucking air into the inner case so as to communicate vertically; and an outer flow path body which is spaced outward from the inner flow path body and disposed below the inner case, and forms a discharge flow path, between the inner flow path body, communicating with the blow passage; wherein an outer circumferential surface of the inner flow path body comprises a first concave portion formed to be concave, a first horizontal portion extended horizontally outwardly from a lower end of the first concave portion, and a vertical portion extended vertically downwardly from an outer end of the first horizontal portion.
