Hot water supply system
A hot water supply system includes: a water heater; a circulating water passage; a water supply passage; and a circulating pump. The water heater is configured to emergently stop if a burner is performing combustion, an air supply fan is operating, the circulating pump is not operating, and a temperature detected by an apparatus interior temperature sensor exceeds an upper limit temperature. The water heater is configured to execute an apparatus interior cooling operation of stopping combustion of the burner, driving the air supply fan, and driving the circulating pump, if the burner is performing combustion, the air supply fan is operating, the circulating pump is operating, and the temperature detected by the apparatus interior temperature sensor exceeds the upper limit temperature.
COMBUSTION DEVICE AND COMBUSTION DEVICE SYSTEM INCLUDING COMBUSTION DEVICE
A combustion device includes a combustion control section which controls combustion in the combustion device; a setting section operated to set information indicating whether or not a plurality of combustion devices are in a common vent discharge state; and a memory section which stores therein connection configurations with the other combustion control sections to which the combustion control section is communicatively connected, and the combustion control section determines whether or not the combustion control section can communicate with a linkage control section or the other combustion control sections, and inhibits combustion in the combustion device to which the combustion control section belongs, in a case where the combustion control section determines that the combustion control section cannot communicate with the linkage control section or at least one of the other combustion control sections and the common vent discharge state is set by the setting section.
Furnace for melting inorganic salts
Furnace for melting inorganic salts, comprising a container, at least one inlet area for solid inorganic salts, at least one outlet area for molten inorganic salts and at least one heat exchanger tube or coil. Each heat exchanger tube includes an inlet section connected to the outer side wall of the container, a spiral section substantially along the inner side walls of the container defining an internal space, with this spiral section arranged in a substantially horizontal plane, and an outlet section which is substantially vertical and goes downwards towards the bottom area or upwards towards the top area of the container. This furnace provides better safety and performance than previously known furnaces.
Modulating Burner With Venturi Damper
A modulating burner apparatus includes a burner and a blower placed upstream of the burner. A venturi is placed upstream of the blower. A damper valve is placed upstream of the venturi. The damper valve has an open position and a restricted position. A smaller gas valve and a larger gas valve are communicated with the venturi. A controller is operably associated with the system to select a position of the damper valve and to select the appropriate one of the gas valves so as to provide a low output operation mode and a high output operation mode, which in combination provide an overall turndown ratio of at least 25:1.
Method and apparatus for heating a stored liquid
A self-contained portable heating system to heat a stored liquid in a storage tank to a desired temperature is provided. The system can comprise operatively connected components such as a generator to power a burner that can transfer energy from a combustion product, from for example, a fuel supplied by an attached fuel tank, to a heat transfer fluid through the use of a boiler. The heat transfer fluid can transfer heat from the boiler to a heat exchanger which can then transfer heat to the stored liquid in the tank. The tank can also comprise a circulating pump that can circulate the heat transfer fluid and an expansion tank that can receive the heat transfer fluid when it expands as a result of being heated. In some embodiments, the heating components can be supplied separately from storage tank so that they can be retrofit onto an existing tank.
PLATE-SHAPED HEAT INSULATOR, COMBUSTION CHAMBER, BOILER AND WATER HEATER
A plate-shaped heat insulator including a plate-shaped papermaking product containing inorganic fibers, and one or more grooves in at least one of its surfaces. The plate-shaped heat insulator is intended to be disposed in a combustion chamber.
CONDENSATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for use with a fuel-burning water heater and a ventilation conduit is disclosed. The fuel-burning water heater is configured to burn fuel and generate gaseous exhaust and condensate from the burning of the fuel. The ventilation conduit is configured to remove the gaseous exhaust from the fuel-burning water heater. The system includes an input port configured to receive the gaseous exhaust and the condensate, a neutralizing material holder configured to house a condensate neutralizing material therein and to receive the condensate from the input port, a gas output port configured to provide the gaseous exhaust to the ventilation conduit, and a liquid output port configured to output condensate from the neutralizing material holder. The neutralizing material holder is disposed between the input port and the liquid output port.
Water heater receiving humidified air
A water heater according to the present invention includes: a heating unit that includes a burner provided to cause a combustion reaction from air and fuel, and that is provided to generate heated water by using heat generated by the combustion reaction; and a humidifier unit that generates water steam by evaporating water using a combustion gas generated by the combustion reaction and discharged from the heating unit, and provides the water steam together with the air to the burner.
PROCESSES AND APPARATUSES FOR HEATING A PROCESS FLUID IN A HEATER
Processes and apparatuses for heating a process fluid with a heater having a burner. Fuel is passed to the burner and combusts to product heat. An inert gas stream is provided to the burner, either upstream or downstream or both, of the burner. The flow of the inert gas stream is controlled based on a composition of the fuel, with more inert gas being passed downstream of the burner to when the amount of hydrogen in the fuel is increased.
BURNER DEVICE, HEAT GENERATOR, HEATING SYSTEM AND SERVICE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VIBRATION ADAPTATION OF A BURNER DEVICE
