GOLF BALLS INCORPORATING DOUBLE NETWORK CROSS-LINKED COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A BASE THERMOPLASTIC
20180085637 · 2018-03-29 · ·

Golf ball comprising at least one layer consisting of a double network cross-linked composition comprising a mixture of a base thermoplastic polymer composition and a double network polymer composition. The double network polymer composition comprises a plurality of particulates of a polymer composition that is elongated from 10% to 200%, or at least 50%, or at least 100% or at least 150% or 200% or greater during a partial cure state.

Golf ball comprising a very-low melt flow inner cover layer composition

A golf ball including a core; an inner cover layer formed from a thermoplastic composition and having a thickness of about 0.005 inches to 0.40 inches and a surface hardness of about 60 Shore D or greater; and an outer cover layer formed from a thermoset material and having a thickness of about 0.01 inches to 0.05 inches and a surface hardness of about 60 Shore D or less. The thermoplastic composition has a first melt flow index at 280 C. under a 10-kg load of less than about 35 g/10 min and a second melt flow index at 265 C. under a 5-kg load of less than about 10 g/10 min.

SPORTS TRAINING BALL WITH ENHANCED GRIPPING SURFACE

A sports ball, such as a lacrosse ball, comprising, an outer shell layer defining an enclosure having an interior volume for housing a filler material, the outer shell layer comprising a plurality of sections (pads or panels) connected along a plurality of seams, the sections having an outer surface comprising one or more layers of a substantially smooth non-woven synthetic leather, such as a synthetic suede, microfiber, or micro-velour, with an optional surface coating, which produce a frictional resistance (coefficient of friction) which decreases ball slippage against a surface or when released from the strings of a lacrosse stick.

Golf ball

The invention provides a golf ball having a core and a cover of one layer or a plurality of layers, the core being formed of a material molded under heat from a rubber composition containing: (A) a base rubber, (B) an organic peroxide, and (C) water and/or a metal monocarboxylate. The core has a hardness profile which satisfies specific relationships between the JIS-C hardness at the core center (Cc), the JIS-C hardness at a position 10 mm from the core center (C10) and the JIS-C hardness at the core surface (Cs).

A golf aid for assisting a user in determining distances on a golf course includes a user tracking system configured to determine the location of a user on a golf course, a heads up display, and a processor. The heads up display is configured to be worn on the user's head, and to display an image within a field of view of the user. The processor is in communication with the user tracking system and with the heads up display, and is configured to determine a distance between the location of the user an object or a landmark on the golf course, and display a numeric representation of the determined distance via the heads up display.

TOY WATER BALL

A toy wall ball includes a pair of petals and a connecting portion connecting the petals. Each petal includes a body, a frame extending inward from the body and a magnetic attraction assembly embedded between the body and the frame. Each magnetic attraction assembly includes magnetic members and a fixing member including fixing cases and connecting strips. Each fixing case encloses a corresponding magnetic member and is connected to a connecting strip. When the petals are in a closed state, the petals jointly enclose and define a water-carrying cavity, and the magnetic members of the petals attract each other to have the frames of the petals tightly contact each other to form a water retaining layer that seals the water-carrying cavity. The connection area between the magnetic members and the frame and body is increased, thereby greatly reducing the risk of the magnetic members falling off the petals and improving safety.
