PIPING SYSTEM FOR AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLED IN VEHICLE

Provided is a piping system for an air conditioner installed in a vehicle that can achieve appropriate weight reduction while ensuring appropriate pressure resistance as the piping system as a whole. A circulation path that connects component devices of an air conditioner (8) in an annular shape to circulate a refrigerant (C) is formed by each pipe body extending between the component devices. At least one of the pipe bodies includes: a resin hose (2) embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material (3f) or a resin pipe (5) embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material (6f), and the resin pipe bodies (2), (5) are employed in 50% or more of a total length of each of the pipe bodies constituting the circulation path.

A refrigerating apparatus may include a main body having an interior space in which an article is accommodated, a door configured to open and close an opening of the main body, a compressor configured to compress a non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant, a condenser configured to condense the compressed non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant, a hotline provided at a contact portion between the main body and the door through which the condensed non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant flows, an expander configured to expand the non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant, heat of which is radiated by the hotline, and an evaporator configured to evaporate the expanded non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant to supply cold air to the interior space. According to such structure, even when the non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant is used, a function of the hotline to prevent dew formation may be normally performed with hot refrigerant.

Termination block

A termination block of an HVAC unit comprises an elongated body that is coupled to the frame of the HVAC unit. The elongated body securely retains a refrigerant pressure gauge port therein and mounts a filter drier thereto such that copper tubing to and/or from the refrigerant filter drier and the refrigerant pressure gauge port is held in position to assist with brazing the copper tubing to other copper tubing and/or components of the HVAC unit.
