Automatic anti-bridging device for use with a ball washer
10245472 · 2019-04-02 ·

An agitator for use in agitating lightweight polymeric balls in conjunction with a ball washing device is disclosed and includes a base portion, a standing portion attached to the base portion, with the station portion oriented in a vertical direction and generally perpendicular to a horizontal plane formed by the base portion; a motor having a rotatable shaft, a linkage connected to the rotatable shaft, and a bumper connected to the linkage at a location different from the rotatable shaft; and a tubular member connected to the standing portion, the tubular member having an internal diameter that is generally free of obstructions, to facilitate passage of balls through said tubular member when the balls are subjected to a negative pressure differential within the tubular member for transport to a ball washer device.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR MONITORING PERFORMANCE WHEN LAUNCHING A BALL

A system and method for including an entertainment aspect in an individual's training/practice session for throwing/kicking/hitting (i.e. launching) a ball, requires recording a video stream(s) that includes images of the individual's body motions and the resultant flight trajectory of the ball. Images from the video stream(s) can then be used, with appropriate metrics, to study the motion kinetics of the individual and the ball's resultant flight trajectory, to evaluate the individual's performance in launching the ball. Also, images from the video stream can be edited by the individual for subsequent training or entertainment purposes.

Sports simulation system

A golf simulation system includes a processor configured to receive image data from a launch area sensing unit to determine position, velocity, acceleration and spin of a golf ball and to calculate a trajectory of the golf ball into a golf scene presented on a display surface. The system includes a processor that generates a profile of a golf ball travel path over a plurality of images, determines the golf ball travel path length per image of the plurality of images, identifies regions corresponding to one or more markings on the golf ball, determines the distance between the regions in each image, calculates the spin rate and tilt of the golf ball using the determined distance, and uses the golf ball travel path length and camera device frame rate to estimate a spin tilt axis of the golf ball using the orientation of the regions in each image and the relative angle between the longitudinal axis of the regions and the longitudinal axis of the golf ball travel path.

Juggling practice tool

The juggling practice tool is a device that is designed to collect objects that are dropped in the course of practicing juggling. The juggling practice tool is a catch basin that is worn by the juggler during the practice session. The catch basin is attached to the juggler through the use of a plurality of shoulder straps, a waist belt, and a belt connector. The plurality of shoulder straps and the waist belt hold the catch basin perpendicular to the plane of juggling in such a way that when a juggled object is dropped the catch basin catches and hold the dropped juggled object in a location readily accessible to the juggler. The juggling practice tool comprises a catch basin, a plurality of shoulder straps, a waist belt, and a belt connector.

RECREATIONAL/SPORT APPARATUS

A recreational/sport apparatus comprises a playing field, on which a target is arranged protruding from a surface of the playing field, and a ball adapted to be shot toward the target. Conveniently, the apparatus comprises means apt to perform the reconstruction of the trajectory of the ball, those means comprising at least one first camera and at least one second camera apt to simultaneously acquire a plurality of first images and second images, respectively, of the ball, and a central unit which receives the first and second images by means of data reception/transmission means and which processes those first and second images in predetermined consecutive time-intervals, the central unit calculating the two-dimensional position of the ball in each of those first and second images, so as to determine, at each time-interval, the three-dimensional position of the ball by comparing those two-dimensional positions, wherein the target is divided into a plurality of target areas and the central unit is apt to recognize a coordinate at which one of the target areas is intersected by the trajectory of the ball.

User configurable trailer

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
