Fluid or gas cooling and/or condensing apparatus, system and method
A fluid or gas cooling and/or condensing apparatus, system and method provides a cooling apparatus for cooling and condensing material, such as, for example, refrigerant from air conditioners, refrigerators, and other like mechanical cooling devices for collecting the same, and/or other gases and/or fluids, such as wine, for example.
HIGH-PRESSURE TO LOW-PRESSURE LINE SET JOINING TOOL FOR AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present invention provides an improved method for flushing a solvent through a line set of a condenser, compressor, and routing of heat ventilation and air-conditioning, and a high-pressure to low-pressure coupling device. The novel device is operable for joining the high-pressure and low-pressure lines and eliminates the need for having multiple technicians present for conducting a line set flush.

A refrigerant regenerating apparatus of the present disclosure includes: a regenerator into which a refrigerant flows and from which the refrigerant is discharged, the regenerator configured to separate and discharge oil contained in a refrigerant flowing in the regenerator; and a recoverer into which the refrigerant discharged from the regenerator flows, the recoverer including a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant flowing in the recoverer and a heat exchanger configured to condense a refrigerant discharged from the compressor, in which the regenerator includes: a charger configured to charge oil contained in the refrigerant flowing in the regenerator with positive ions or negative ions using corona discharge; and a collector configured to electrically collect the oil charged through the charger.
REFRIGERANT RECOVERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A refrigerant recovery management system includes a display and a computer. The computer executes a data input program to present a screen on the display. The screen is configured for a user to input information regarding refrigerant that has been recovered from refrigerant use equipment and is to be sent to a refrigerant treatment practitioner that conducts a refrigerant treatment on the refrigerant. The computer is configured to: generate request data for sending the refrigerant to the refrigerant treatment practitioner, the request data including information regarding the refrigerant; generate report data regarding the refrigerant treatment for reporting the refrigerant treatment to a manager that manages refrigerant recovery, the report data including information regarding the refrigerant; and determine a conformity between the request data and the report data by determining whether information regarding the refrigerant included in the request data agrees with information regarding the refrigerant included in the report data.
REFRIGERANT RECOVERY DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A refrigerant recovery device comprising a pump; a heat rejecting heat exchanger disposed in fluid communication with the pump; a refrigerant storage container disposed in fluid communication with the heat rejecting heat exchanger and the pump; a fluid interface disposed in fluid communication with the pump and configured for fluidly connecting the refrigerant recovery device to a refrigerant containing device; and a plurality of valves disposed in fluid communication with at least one of the pump, the heat rejecting heat exchanger, the refrigerant storage container, or the fluid interface and configurable to establish a first fluid pathway fluidly connecting the refrigerant containing device to the refrigerant storage container, and a second fluid pathway fluidly connecting the heat rejecting heat exchanger to the refrigerant storage container.
PURGE SYSTEM FOR CHILLER SYSTEM
A purge system for removing non-condensables from a chiller system includes a purge chamber, a plurality of carbon beds fluidly connected to the purge chamber into which a flow of refrigerant and non-condensables is selectably directed from the purge chamber to remove the non-condensables therefrom. A vent line is fluidly connected to the plurality of carbon beds to dispose of the collected non-condensables, and a heater is operably connected to the plurality of carbon beds to selectably heat one or more of the carbon beds of the plurality of carbon beds to release refrigerant therefrom and direct the released refrigerant to the purge chamber.
REFRIGERANT CHARGING METHOD
Efficiency in refrigerant charging work is addressed when a recovered refrigerant recovered from a first heat source unit is to be charged to a second heat source unit. A refrigerant charging method is a charging method used when a first heat source unit of an already installed refrigeration cycle apparatus in which a refrigeration cycle is to be performed by a refrigerant that circulates is to be replaced with a second heat source unit. The refrigerant charging method includes recovering a first refrigerant from an already installed refrigeration cycle apparatus and obtaining a recovered refrigerant and charging the recovered refrigerant and charging a second refrigerant whose composition differs from the composition of the recovered refrigerant to the refrigeration cycle apparatus after renewal that includes the second heat source unit.
REFRIGERANT CHARGING METHOD
Efficiency in refrigerant charging work is addressed when a refrigerant recovered from the first heat source unit is to be charged to a second heat source unit. In a refrigerant charging method in which a first heat source unit of an already installed refrigeration cycle apparatus in which a refrigeration cycle is to be performed by a refrigerant that circulates is replaced with a second heat source unit, transferring the refrigerant from the first heat source unit to the second heat source unit is included. In addition, the method includes measuring the weight of the refrigerant that is transferred from the first heat source unit to the second heat source unit.

A system attachable to a refrigeration circuit includes a recovery pump attachable to the refrigeration circuit to remove refrigerant. The recovery pump includes a pump, an electric motor, a battery pack, and a recovery pump controller for controlling the operation of the electric motor. The recovery pump controller has a first communication interface. The system further includes an accessory attachable to the refrigeration circuit concurrently with the recovery pump. The accessory includes a sensor for detecting a characteristic value of the refrigeration circuit, and an accessory controller electrically connected with the sensor to receive a signal corresponding with the characteristic value of the refrigeration circuit. The accessory controller has a second communication interface to communicate the signal to the recovery pump controller via the first and second wireless interfaces. The recovery pump controller controls the operation of the electric motor based upon the signal received from the accessory.
