A method for generating electricity and cold and a device for realizing same, consists in a closed absorption cycle in which a working body is a mixture of a low-boiling (refrigerant) component and a high-boiling (absorbent) component. The method involves evaporating a strong solution in a steam generator, thus forming a refrigerant vapor and a weak solution, expanding the refrigerant vapor in a turbine, thus producing work, and, after the turbine, absorbing spent vapor in an absorber, forming a strong solution. A distinguishing feature of the method consists in changing the concentration of a strong solution using two stages, including not only evaporation but also filtration. The proposed method and device allow for significantly increasing the efficiency of systems for generating electricity relative to analogous known methods.

The invention relates to separator for separating gas bubbles and/or particles from a liquid. The separator comprises a collection chamber, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a first fluid flow path extending from the fluid inlet through the collection chamber to the fluid outlet. The separator includes at least one separating element arranged for separating gas bubbles from the liquid arranged in the first fluid flow path. The separator further includes at least one plate arranged in the collection chamber such that the plate defines a passage forming a second fluid flow path at least partially bypassing the separating element.

The present invention relates to an air conditioner. In an air conditioner according to an embodiment, a scroll compressor having a refrigerating capacity of 23 kW to 58 kW and an amount of circulating refrigerant of 880 cc is used, a refrigerant mixture containing 50% or more of R32 is used as a refrigerant circulating the air conditioner, and a flexible stainless steel pipe having 1% or less of delta ferrite matrix structure on the basis of the grain size area is comprised in a refrigerant pipe. Therefore, the strength and hardness of the refrigerant pipe is maintained to be equal to or higher than those of a copper pipe, and the processability can be well maintained.

External separator

A ducted separator in a compressor-based cooling assembly is connected to an oil/gas outlet of the compressor. The ducted separator is a pipe with at least one bend in it which collects oil in a manner which can achieve 98% oil carry over efficiency. The ducted separator may optionally be connected to a second phase separator such as a centrifugal cylinder. In that case, the height of the centrifugal cylinder can be significantly reduced compared with conventional arrangements. Alternatively, a simpler impingement surface such as one or more baffles may be used as the second phase separator or just a collection chamber.
