A refrigerator appliance includes an ice packer assembly including an enclosure with a rotatable door, and an ice mold slidably supported by the enclosure. The ice mold is configured to translate between a first position and a second position. The door is configured to rotate from a first orientation to a second orientation as the ice mold is translated from the first position to the second position. The enclosure defines a pass-through opening therethrough. The door opens up the pass-through opening when rotated to the first orientation, and closes the pass-through opening and defines a platform for receiving crushed ice thereon when it is rotated to the second orientation.

An ice making machine may include an ice tray comprising a water storage recessed part in which water supplied from a water supply pipe is stored, a drive part structured to reverse the ice tray around an axial line passing the ice tray between a water storage position where the water storage recessed part faces an upper side and an ice separation position where the water storage recessed part faces a lower side, and a frame which supports the ice tray and the drive part. The frame includes a frame portion which is separated to a side from a turning locus formed by turning of the ice tray, and a water pouring part which is protruded from the frame portion to a side of the turning locus.

An ice making machine may include an ice tray comprising a water storage recessed part in which water supplied from a water supply pipe is stored, a drive part structured to reverse the ice tray around an axial line passing the ice tray between a water storage position where the water storage recessed part faces an upper side and an ice separation position where the water storage recessed part faces a lower side, and a frame which supports the ice tray and the drive part. An ice maker of a refrigerator includes a tray assembly having an upper tray that defines upper portions of a plurality of ice making chambers. Each of the plurality of ice making chambers is configured to receive water and generate an ice piece. The tray assembly also includes a lower tray that is located vertically below the upper tray, that is configured to rotate relative to the upper tray, and that defines lower portions of the plurality of ice making chambers, wherein at least one of the upper tray or the lower tray comprises a flexible tray made of a flexible material. Additionally, a case is configured to accommodate the flexible tray to restrict a deformation of the flexible tray. A heater that is located between the case and the flexible tray is configured to supply heat to the plurality of ice making chambers through the flexible tray.

An ice maker of a refrigerator includes a tray assembly having an upper tray that defines upper portions of a plurality of ice making chambers. Each of the plurality of ice making chambers is configured to receive water and generate an ice piece. The tray assembly also includes a lower tray that is located vertically below the upper tray, that is configured to rotate relative to the upper tray, and that defines lower portions of the plurality of ice making chambers, wherein at least one of the upper tray or the lower tray comprises a flexible tray made of a flexible material. Additionally, a case is configured to accommodate the flexible tray to restrict a deformation of the flexible tray. A heater that is located between the case and the flexible tray is configured to supply heat to the plurality of ice making chambers through the flexible tray.

A refrigerator having an ice maker with an improved structure. The refrigerator includes an ice maker installable in the door, and including a frame, an ice-making tray which is detachably mounted on the frame, configured to contain ice, and a water bucket which is rotatable while mounted on the frame, configured to supply water to the ice-making tray. The water bucket may include a rotating shaft as a rotation center about which the water bucket is rotatable, and a moving guide spaced apart from the rotating shaft and movable around the rotating shaft. The frame may include a rotating shaft coupling portion to which the rotating shaft is rotatably coupled, and a guide rail on which at least a portion of the moving guide is supported, configured to guide a rotational movement of the water bucket.

A refrigerator having an ice maker with an improved structure. The refrigerator includes an ice maker installable in the door, and including a frame, an ice-making tray which is detachably mounted on the frame, configured to contain ice, and a water bucket which is rotatable while mounted on the frame, configured to supply water to the ice-making tray. A refrigerator includes a cabinet, an ice maker configured to make spherical ice, and an ice bin for storing the ice. The ice maker includes an upper assembly including a plurality of hemispherical upper chambers, a lower assembly disposed below and pivotably coupled to the upper assembly, wherein the lower assembly includes a plurality of hemispherical lower chambers that are configured to come in contact with the plurality of hemispherical upper chambers to define a plurality of spherical ice chambers, a driver configured to pivot the lower assembly, and an ice-full state detection lever that is coupled to and configured to be pivoted by the driver, wherein the ice-full state detection lever is configured to pivot in the same direction as the lower assembly to detect whether the ice bin is in an ice-full state.
