REFRIGERATOR
The present invention relates to a refrigerator. The refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a first tray forming a part of an ice-making cells; a second tray forming the other part of the ice-making cells; a heater for supplying heat to the ice making cells; a cooler for supplying cold to a storage compartment; and a control unit for controlling the heater and the cooler. The operation modes of the refrigerator include a first mode and a second mode. The control unit may control so that either or both of the amounts of cooling by the cooler and the amount of heating by the heater vary in the first mode and the second mode.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
A refrigerator of the present disclosure can include an ice making cell, a heater configured to supply heat to the ice making cell during an ice making process, and a controller configured to control the heater. The process for controlling the heater includes a basic heating process and an additional heating process that is performed after the basic heating process. In the basic heating process, the controller performs control so that a heating amount of the heater varies according to a mass per unit height of water in the ice making cell. In at least partial section of the additional heating process, the controller controls the heater to operate with a heating amount that is equal to or less than a heating amount of the heater in the basic heating process.
Ice maker and a refrigerator including the same
In a refrigerator, a cam of a cam gear rotating by a driving motor is provided with a structure protruding from an edge portion of a cam gear to a center, thereby increasing the thickness of a cam surface. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the magnitude of force directly transferred from the cam gear to a magnet lever.
REFRIGERATOR WITH ICE MAKER HAVING A CAM DRIVEN RELEASE MECHANISM
A refrigerator has an ice maker. The ice maker has a longitudinal axis; a rotatable, stretchable ice cube tray having an upper face defining a plane offset from the longitudinal axis with openings for ice cubes and a bottom surface, and the upper face and the bottom surface being parallel to the longitudinal axis, the offset being at least a depth of an ice cube; and an axially mounted, rotatable cam with a convex surface, the cam is coaxial with the longitudinal axis and positioned between the longitudinal axis and the bottom surface of the tray, so that the convex surface is engageable with the bottom surface of the tray. Ice cubes are released by rotation of the cam as the convex surface outwardly flexes the tray.
ICE MAKER AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
The present invention comprises: a first tray for forming a portion of an ice-making cell; a second tray forming the other portion of the ice-making cell, and capable of moving relative to the first tray; an ice bin for storing ice separated from the first and second trays; and a full-ice sensing lever for moving together with the second tray in a predetermined range.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a storage compartment for storing food; a first temperature sensor for sensing the temperature in the storage compartment; a door for opening and closing the storage compartment; a cold air supply means for supplying cold air into the storage compartment; trays forming ice-making cells which are spaces in which water changes phase into ice due to the cold air; a second temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of the water or ice in the ice-making cells; a heater for supplying heat to the trays; and a control unit for controlling the heater, wherein, after opening or closing of the door is sensed during the ice-making process, the control unit increases the cooling power of the cold air supply means if an increase in cooling power therefrom is determined to be needed on the basis of the temperature sensed by the first temperature sensor, and decreases the amount of heat applied by the heater if a reduction in heat applied by the heater is determined to be needed on the basis of the change in temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor.
ICE CUBE TRAY
An ice cube tray includes a base and a lid for covering an open top of the base. The open top provides access to compartments for making individual ice cubes. The lid includes ridges on its bottom surface that define holding areas. When the lid covers the open top, such that the holding areas are facing the compartments, and the tray is turned upside down, ice cubes are released from the compartments and fall into the holding areas on the lid. When the base is moved away from the lid, the ice cubes are each held in a respective holding area for grasping by a user. Any ice cubes remaining on the lid remain held in the holding areas. The base can then be placed back over the lid and the tray can be turned right-side up, which returns the remaining ice cubes to their original compartments.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
A refrigerator of the present disclosure includes a tray configured to form an ice making cell, a water supply valve configured to control the flow of water to the ice making cell, and a controller configured to control the water supply valve, in which the controller controls the water supply valve to turn off the water supply valve to stop water supply while performing water supply and turns on the water supply valve again for additional water supply after the water supply valve is turned off.
REFRIGERATOR
The present invention relates to a refrigerator. A refrigerator according to the present invention may comprises a first tray assembly forming one part of ice-making cells, and a second tray assembly forming the other part of same. Following the start of ice making process, so that ice can be produced in the direction of ice-making cells formed by any one tray assembly, from among the first and second tray assemblies, to the ice-making cells formed by the other tray assembly, the other tray assembly comprises a first surface forming a part of the ice-making cells, and a second surface extending from the first surface and supported by at least one surface of the one assembly.
ICE MAKER AND REFRIGERATOR COMPRISING SAME
An ice maker, according to the present disclosure, comprises: a first tray forming a part of an ice-making cell; a second tray forming another part of the ice-making cell; and a heater arranged on the first tray or the second tray, wherein the heater operates during a perdio when cold air is supplied for the purposed of freezing ice.
