The present invention comprises: a first tray for forming a portion of an ice-making cell; a second tray forming the other portion of the ice-making cell, and capable of moving relative to the first tray; an ice bin for storing ice separated from the first and second trays; and a full-ice sensing lever for moving together with the second tray in a predetermined range.
Ice machine
An ice maker includes a dry compartment and a wet compartment adjacent to the dry compartment and including: an evaporator case sized to receive an evaporator, the evaporator case including: a plurality of interior panels joined to each other with snap-fit joints, each of the snap-fit joints including a tab and defining a slot, each of a plurality of seams formed between the interior panels defining a foam-tight seal and a water-tight seal; and a plurality of exterior panels, each of the plurality of exterior panels joined to a mating interior panel of the plurality of interior panels with slide joints, wherein the evaporator case is integrally insulated with blown foam insulation positioned between each of the plurality of exterior panels and a corresponding interior panel.
REFRIGERATOR
An ice making device in a refrigerator including light sensors to detect an ice level in the ice bucket. An ice level sensing unit is positioned lower than an upper edge of the ice bucket and thus can detect ice level even when the ice bucket is not completely full. The ice level sensing unit includes one or more pairs of light emitting sensor and light receiving sensor. When ice in the ice bucket accumulates to a detectable level, the amount of light emitted from the light emitting sensor and received by the light receiving sensor can be blocked accordingly.
Ultrasonic bin control in an ice machine
An ice machine includes: an ice maker including: an ultrasonic bin sensor mounted to a body; and a controller in electrical communication with the ultrasonic bin sensor and configured to control the ultrasonic bin sensor; and a storage bin coupled to the ice maker and sized to receive a mound of ice, a lens of the ultrasonic bin sensor facing a bottom of an interior cavity of the storage bin, the controller configured to process a return signal of the ultrasonic bin sensor to control a level of ice stored inside the storage bin, the controller further configured to apply a predetermined time delay to filter out a portion of the return signal that exceeds a threshold voltage but does not exceed the time delay.
Domestic Refrigeration Appliance Comprising An Ice Maker
A domestic refrigeration appliance includes a refrigerator compartment set to a first target temperature by a regulation or control unit, an ice maker compartment being separated from the refrigerator compartment by an inner insulation layer and set to a second target temperature by the regulation or control unit and an ice maker in the ice maker compartment. The regulation or control unit can switch between a normal ice making mode and a reduced-power ice making mode in which the target temperature in the ice maker compartment lies between the target temperature in the refrigerator compartment and the target temperature in the ice maker compartment in the normal ice making mode.
Refrigerator appliances
Refrigerator appliances are provided. A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet defining a fresh food chamber and a freezer chamber, and a door for accessing one of the fresh food chamber or the freezer chamber. The refrigerator appliance further includes an ice making assembly disposed within one of the fresh food chamber, the freezer chamber or the door. The ice making assembly includes an ice maker, a container defining a storage volume for receipt of ice produced by the ice maker, and a chute extending between the ice maker and the container for directing the ice produced by the ice maker towards the storage volume. The chute includes a body defining a passage therethrough. The ice making assembly further includes a sensor positioned to transmit sensing signals through the chute, the sensor in communication with the ice maker.
Outdoor unit and air-conditioning apparatus
An outdoor unit includes a compressor compressing a sucked refrigerant and discharging compress, an outdoor heat exchanger exchanging heat between outdoor air and the refrigerant, an accumulator storing a liquefied refrigerant at a suction side of the compressor, a solenoid valve for storing the refrigerant in the outdoor heat exchanger, and a controller performing control so as to feed the refrigerant stored within the outdoor heat exchanger during a defrosting operation, to the accumulator on the basis of an amount of refrigerant within the accumulator when operation is switched to a heating operation from the defrosting operation.
ICEMAKING SYSTEM AND ICEMAKING METHOD
An icemaking system includes a circulation circuit configured to circulate icemaking solution, at least one icemaker provided in the circulation circuit, a cooling mechanism, a first detector and an adjuster. The icemaker includes a cooling chamber and a scraping mechanism. The cooling chamber has an inflow port and an exhaust port of solution, and the cooling chamber allows the solution to flow in the cooling chamber. The scraping mechanism scrapes ice generated on an inner surface of the cooling chamber. The cooling mechanism cools the solution in the cooling chamber. The first detector detects whether the inflow port of the cooling chamber has an ice nucleus. The adjuster adjusts a cooling temperature of the solution in accordance with a detection result of the first detector.
CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROL APPARATUS FOR ICE MAKING OF REFRIGERATOR, AND REFRIGERATOR
The present application relates to the field of ice making control for a refrigerator. Disclosed is a control method for ice making of a refrigerator, the method comprising: when an ice maker finishes ice making, detecting whether an ice storage box of the ice maker is in an ice-full state; when it is detected that the ice storage box is not in the ice-full state, controlling the ice maker to complete a first instance of ice turning; detecting again whether the ice storage box of the ice maker is in the ice-full state; and when it is detected that the ice storage box is in the ice-full state, controlling the ice maker to make ice again. In this way, the utilization rate of an ice maker can be effectively improved, the ice making amount is improved, the time during which a user waits for ice making is reduced, and the user experience is improved.
Ice maker and a refrigerator including the same
In a refrigerator, a cam of a cam gear rotating by a driving motor is provided with a structure protruding from an edge portion of a cam gear to a center, thereby increasing the thickness of a cam surface. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the magnitude of force directly transferred from the cam gear to a magnet lever.
