Racket Grip Reference Point Trainer
An attachment to the handle of a racket that tactically indicates to a player whether his/her hand has properly gripped the handle of a racket for a desired tennis stroke (e.g., forehand, backhand, etc.). The attachment is a band composed of rubber or a similar elastic material positioned around of the racket handle positioned such that the outer edge of the player's hand and smallest finger of the hand (also known as the pinky finger) rest on top of the band. The band further includes two ridges circumferentially equidistant from each other on the circular wrap, each protruding from the exterior the band to provide a surface against which the end of the player's finger will abut to provide a tactile stopping point for the player's hand when rotating the racket handle so as to achieve consistent hand placement for a designated grip as the player transitions from one grip to another during play.
HANDLE SHELL FOR BALL GAME RACKET
The present invention relates to a ball game racket, a method for adjusting the length of the handle portion of a ball game racket and a handle shell for the handle portion of a ball game racket.
Waterproof Racket
A waterproof racket includes an annular skeleton, a receiving pocket having a pocket cavity, and a trampoline layer affixed to the receiving pocket. The annular skeleton is received in the pocket cavity to retain the receiving pocket in an annular configuration. The trampoline layer is affixed to a centerline of the receiving pocket, wherein the trampoline layer is stretched to form a trampoline surface in a tension manner.
TRAINING RACKET AND METHOD
A training racket with a user end on one side and a hitting end on an opposite side. The user end further comprises a first grip, a second grip, and a generally u-shaped segment interconnecting the first grip and the second grip. The generally u-shaped segment extends away from an axis extending through the first grip, the second grip and the hitting end, whereby the player positions a portion of the racket behind their back with a first grip on one side of their body and the second grip on the opposite side of their body to practice their hitting and swinging techniques.
COVER FOR THE SHAFT OF ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT
A sheath for an article of athletic equipment having a shaft, which includes a cap and a rolled sheath. The cap is mounted on the free end of the athletic equipment and the sheath is unrolled onto the shaft to the desired length or the entire length of the shaft. The cap and sheath are preferably made from injection molded rubber, neoprene of other polymers that permit production in various thickness, colors and lengths. The elasticity of the material preferably gives it memory and durability. The diameter of the sheath is preferably smaller than the diameter of the shaft of the athletic equipment so that it stretches to a tight fit. After the sheath is unrolled to the desired length, excess material may be cut off, if desired.
COVER FOR THE SHAFT OF ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT

Motion sensor in a sports instrument
A solution is provided to enhance motion detection and recognition of moving objects associated with various sports by embedding motion sensors into sports instruments such as tennis rackets, badminton rackets, baseball bats and golf clubs, that are swung in a three-dimensional (3D) space. A motion sensor device inserted and locked inside a sports instrument is configured to detect motions associated with movements associated with the sports instrument. The device is shaped to be inserted into a sensor housing attached to a selected location inside the sports instrument. The device includes a motion sensor for detecting motion associated with the movement of the sports instrument, a cover for protecting the motion sensor, and a locking mechanism attached to the sensor housing for locking the motion sensor inside the sensor housing.
Selection assisting method and selection assisting apparatus
The present invention relates to a selection assisting method including a first selection step of selecting a recommended grip from a plurality of types of grips based on information on a hand size of a testing golfer; a measurement step of measuring by using a measurement device a swing characteristic of the testing golfer in a shot by using a golf club to which the recommended grip selected in the first selection step is attached; and a second selection step of selecting a recommended grip from the plurality of types of grips based on a measurement result in the measurement step.
Sports Racquet
Provided herein are racquets, such as sports racquets. The racquets generally comprise a head frame with a curved side portion and a straight top portion and a curved bottom portion and handle affixed to the head frame between the top portion and portion. A plurality of openings is equally spaced through the head frame and a portion of the handle and a plurality of strings comprising a net pass through the openings. The length of the top rim of the head frame is greater than the bottom rim. The handle connects to the head frame at an angle of about 140 to 150.
RACQUET HIT NOTIFICATION
An apparatus including a sensor carried by a racquet and an indicator in communication with the sensor. The sensor outputs a notification based on (a) the number of hits by the racquet based on signals from the sensor and (b) at least one of an elapsed time since a last stringing of the racquet and an input skill level of a person using the racquet. Additionally, an apparatus including a racquet, a sensor carried by the racquet, and an indicator in communication with the sensor. The sensor can be a strain gauge, a load cell, an acoustic sensor and a vibro-acoustic sensor. The sensor outputs a notification based on the number of hits by the racquet based on signals from the sensor.
