Sports Racquet
Provided herein are racquets, such as sports racquets. The racquets generally comprise a head frame with a curved side portion and a straight top portion and a curved bottom portion and handle affixed to the head frame between the top portion and portion. A plurality of openings is equally spaced through the head frame and a portion of the handle and a plurality of strings comprising a net pass through the openings. The length of the top rim of the head frame is greater than the bottom rim. The handle connects to the head frame at an angle of about 140 to 150.
RACKET OR CLUB CONSISTING OF MAGNESIUM
The present invention relates to a frame for a ball-game racket comprising a head portion and a handle portion, wherein the frame is configured as a hollow profile and comprises magnesium and wherein the wall thickness of the hollow profile varies along a cross-section through the hollow frame profile, as well as to a process for producing such a racket.

Negative Poisson's ratio materials for racquets and golf tees
A racquet includes a handle; and a frame connected to an end of the handle, the frame defining a rounded interior space, the frame including a negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) foam material, in which the NPR foam material, and in which the frame has a Poisson's ratio of between 0 and 1; and a network of strings stretched across the rounded interior space defined by the frame. A golf tee includes an elongated stem; and a head disposed at an end of the elongated stem and shaped to receive a golf ball; in which at least a portion of the golf tee is formed of a negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) foam material, in which the portion of the golf tee has a Poisson's ratio of between 0 and 1, and in which the NPR foam material includes an NPR metal foam, an NPR ceramic foam, or an NPR-PPR composite foam.
