Refrigerator Vibration Isolating Compressor Mount
A mounting arrangement secures a refrigerator compressor to a support base member through a plurality of elastomeric mounts secured on pin elements with retainers. The mounts include head portions which extend through openings provided in an elongated plate fixed to the compressor. The mounts are specifically formed with a rounded bottom to pre-load the mounting arrangement and prevent vibration transmission through cores of the mounts. In addition, each mount includes a plurality of vertically spaced rings which provide shock protection against a large impact force by deflecting and potentially contacting each other, while normal vertical isolation occurs by deflection of an uppermost one of the rings. The mounts are formed with various undercuts which allow the mounts to be optimized for the mass and operational frequency of the compressor.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH AN EVAPORATOR MOUNTED ON AN INNER WALL AND METHOD FOR THE ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A refrigeration appliance includes an inner space, an evaporator assembly extending at a wall of the inner space, a retaining device including a base plate extending between the wall and the evaporator assembly, and protrusions protruding from the wall on a first and a second edge of the base plate. At least the protrusion protruding on the first edge includes an elastic clip that can be deflected out of a position in which it engages with a first outer section of the evaporator assembly into a position in which it releases the outer section. A method for mounting an evaporator assembly on a wall of an inner space of a refrigeration appliance is also provided.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a storage space and a machine compartment that accommodates a compressor, a blow fan, and a condenser. The condenser is curved along front, rear, and side surfaces of the machine compartment. The condenser includes a first header disposed at a first end of the condenser, a second header disposed at a second end of the condenser, tubes that connect the first header and the second header to each other, heat exchange fins disposed the tubes, an input connection portion that extends from the first header toward the second header and is configured to supply refrigerant to the first header, and an output connection portion that extends from the first header toward the second header and is spaced apart from the input connection portion. The output connection portion is configured to receive the refrigerant discharged from the first header.
CHILLER AND ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM
A chiller and an energy storage system are provided. The chiller includes a mechanical refrigeration system, an electric control module and a warehouse. The mechanical refrigeration system includes a compressor, a condenser, an electronic expansion valve and a heat exchanger which are circularly connected by a refrigerant circulation pipeline. The mechanical refrigeration system further includes a condensing fan. The compressor, the condenser, the electronic expansion valve, the heat exchanger and the electric control module are located in the warehouse. The condensing fan is configured to drive external air into the warehouse, the electric control module is adjacent to the condenser and the electric control module and the condenser are inclined to each other, and an air duct with a width gradually decreasing from upstream to downstream in an air flow direction is formed between the electric control module and the condenser.
FASCIA AND DIVIDER WALL FOR A MACHINE COMPARTMENT
A machine compartment assembly for an appliance cabinet includes a fascia that is configured to engage said appliance cabinet. The fascia includes an upper portion that defines a plurality of slots along a length of the upper portion. The fascia also includes a first side flange that is operably coupled to the upper portion and a second side flange that is operably coupled to the upper portion. The first side flange and the second side flange each define a slit. A divider wall is proximate to the fascia. The divider wall includes a wall body that has an outer edge and defines a warm air zone and a cool air zone. The divider wall also includes a gasket is operably coupled to the outer edge of the wall body.
REFRIGERATOR
The present invention relates to a refrigerator and, in particular, to a refrigerator comprising: a main body comprising an outer case, and an inner case provided in the outer case and providing an ice-making compartment and a refrigeration compartment on the upper side thereof and a freezer compartment on the lower side thereof; and an evaporator case provided between the outer case and the inner case, wherein the evaporator case has provided therein an installation space with a rear opening and in communication with the ice-making compartment, the evaporator case has a fan accommodation part on one side thereof and an evaporator on the other side thereof, and a fan assembly for circulating cold air supplied from the evaporator is provided in the fan accommodation part. Since both the fan assembly and the evaporator can be installed in the evaporator case which enables the evaporator to be installed from the outside in the rear of the main body, respective parts can be arranged in a compact manner.
Refrigerator with door-mounted icemaking system
A refrigerator and method utilize a door-mounted icemaking system including an icemaking mold, an ice storage bin and a cold wall evaporator disposed proximate the ice storage bin along an interior wall of the door to provide cooling proximate the ice storage bin. In some instances, the cold wall evaporator may be in addition to an icemaking evaporator that provides direct cooling of the icemaking mold, and furthermore, in some instances, the cold wall and icemaking evaporators may be separately controllable to optimize cooling within the door-mounted icemaking system. In addition, in some instances, a hot wall condenser may be used in a door-mounted icemaking system to dissipate heat generated by a refrigeration circuit through an exterior wall of a door. Further, in some instances a reversible refrigeration circuit may be used in connection with an icemaking evaporator to assist in ejecting ice from an icemaking mold.
RADIAL FAN ASSEMBLY
A fan assembly including an air duct; an evaporator coil cover; a radial fan mounted onto the evaporator coil cover and disposed between the air duct and the evaporator coil cover; wherein the air duct includes a ring portion which interlocks with the evaporator coil cover around the radial fan; wherein the evaporator coil cover comprises three darts positioned substantially uniformly around the radial fan position; three grommets, each grommet having a central opening configured to fit over a dart, each grommet having a circumferential ridge configured to interlock with a lower rim or the radial fan is provided. Further provided is a method of reducing noise in a refrigeration appliance.
