Refrigerator comprising a crisper
The present invention relates to a refrigerator (1) comprising a body (2) wherein foods and beverages are placed, at least one drawer (3) that is disposed into the body (2) wherein fruits and vegetables are placed, a crisper (5) that is disposed inside the body (2) so as to be almost parallel to the base and that has a cover plate (4) remaining above the drawer (3) when the drawer (3) is placed into the body (2), and a flexible element (6) that is disposed on the crisper (5) and that provides airproofing between the interior of the crisper (5) and the exterior of the crisper (5).
Structural cabinet for an appliance incorporating unitary metallic boxes
An appliance includes a metallic outer wrapper having sidewalls, a wrapper backwall and a machine wall. At least one metallic inner liner has liner walls and a liner backwall, wherein the metallic outer wrapper and the at least one metallic inner liner are coupled together at a trim breaker to define a structural cabinet having a hermetically sealed interior cavity defined between the metallic outer wrapper and the at least one metallic inner liner. The trim breaker defines a front face of the structural cabinet. At least one trim breaker conduit extends through the wrapper and liner backwalls wherein the trim breaker conduit defines a conduit through the structural cabinet, and wherein the structural cabinet is hermetically sealed at the trim breaker conduit.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body, a storage compartment provided inside the main body and having an open front side of the storage compartment, a door rotatably coupled to the main body and which opens or closes the open front side of the storage compartment, and a gasket coupled to a rear side of the door to maintain a seal between the main body and the door when the door is closed. The gasket includes a first gasket coupled to the rear side of the door to absorb an impact generated between the door and the main body when the door is closed and a second gasket provided as an integrated injection molded product and coupled to a rear side of the first gasket to maintain the seal between the door and the main body when the door is closed.
Low wattage flipper mullion
A flipper mullion for an appliance includes an outer cover coupled to a hinge, wherein the outer cover is rotationally operable between an extended position and a folded position relative to the hinge. A gasket engages at least a fastening portion of the outer cover, wherein the gasket and the outer cover cooperate to define an outer surface, and wherein an interior surface of a flexible portion of the gasket defines an insulating space that is positioned opposite a front surface of the outer cover.
VACUUM ADIABATIC BODY AND REFRIGERATOR
A vacuum adiabatic body includes a heat exchange pipeline and a sealing plug. The heat exchange pipeline includes at least two pipelines which pass through a first plate and a second plate to allow a refrigerant to move between inner and outer spaces. The sealing plug allows the heat exchange pipeline to pass through a first point of the first plate and a second point of the second plate without contacting a third space.
Freezer, in particular ultra-low temperature freezer
An ultra-low temperature freezer comprising an interior and a housing surrounding the interior and having an outer door. The interior comprises several cooling compartments in a stacked arrangement, each cooling compartment having an inner door. At least one upper cooling compartment has a supplementary seal for sealing its inner door compared to at least one lower cooling compartment.
Welded thermoplastic hybrid cooler and method of manufacturing same
An insulated cooler comprises a body and a lid at least partially connected to the body, where each is comprised of soft thermoplastic material. The body includes a base comprising rigid plastic connected to the body via a first thermoplastic sealing strip heat welded to the bottom edges of the body, and sewn to top edges of the base. The lid includes a top comprising rigid plastic connected to top edges of the lid via a second thermoplastic sealing strip heat welded to the top edges of the lid, and sewn to bottom edges of the top. The cooler also includes a waterproof liner disposed along inner surfaces of the body and the lid, insulation disposed between the liner and the body and lid, and a zipper closing the lid to the body. A method of manufacturing an insulated cooler is also disclosed. This is helpful for transporting cooler conveniently and increasing the capabilities of the cooler.
THERMAL FRAME
The invention features a refrigerator cabinet door frame. The frame includes a thermally conductive outer frame, a thermally insulating inner frame member, and a sealing plate. The outer frame member includes a forward end having an outer surface that is disposed outside of a refrigerated cabinet with the frame mounted, and a rearward end defining a joint. The inner frame member includes a first end retained in the joint, and a second end. The sealing plate includes a first edge coupled to the outer frame member at the rearward end, forward of the joint, a second edge supported by the second end of the inner frame member, and a thermally conductive sealing surface. The first edge of the sealing plate is coupled to the outer frame member such that the sealing surface and the outer surface of the outer frame member together form a continuous heat transfer path.
Appliance storage bin with an over-molded glass panel
A storage bin for an appliance includes a single piece of molded plastic and a glass front panel. The single piece of molded plastic forms one or more of a bottom wall, a rear wall, and a pair of side walls. The glass front panel is insert-molded within the single piece of molded plastic to form a front wall. The front wall, the bottom wall, the rear wall, and the pair of side walls collectively define an interior storage volume. The bottom wall is imperforate. A method for constructing a storage bin is also provided.
