Refrigerator with inventory monitoring and management system
A detection system for estimating a weight of one or more items in a refrigerator is disclosed. The system comprises at least one shelf; at least one transducer configured to transmit a sonic or ultrasonic wave into the at least one shelf and capture the reflected or refracted wave from the shelf; and a processor configured to estimate the weight of the one or more items on the shelf from the sonic or ultrasonic wave received from the at least one transducer. The system further comprises a plurality of cameras configured to capture images of the one or more items on the shelf. The cameras are configured to capture images of the items while on the shelf and off the shelf, which are then used to identify the items and the changes in weight of those items. Items may be automatically reorder based on their weight or change in weight.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR EDITING FOOD INFORMATION
Disclosed are a refrigerator, and a method for processing food information in a refrigerator. While a food editing interface is displayed, a voice recognition interface is displayed for rapidly entering into a voice detection state and then carrying out timely detection of voice input from a user.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a main body defining a first cooling space, a door configured to open and close the first cooling space of the main body, a first heat pump module disposed in the main body and configured to cool the first cooling space, an independent refrigerator that is detachably disposed in the first cooling space and defines a second cooling space separate from the first cooling space, a second heat pump module disposed in the independent refrigerator and configured to cool the second cooling space of the independent refrigerator, a main body power supply part that is disposed in the main body and configured to supply power, and an independent power supply part disposed in the independent refrigerator.
Refrigerator
The refrigerator includes a door including a door body and a front panel coupled to a front surface of the door so to cover a front surface of the door body. The front panel includes a display including a screen on which an image is displayed, and a glass panel provided in front of the display. The glass panel includes a glass member and a decorative layer formed in an area other than an area corresponding to the screen of the display among an entire area of the glass member. The front panel includes a support plate coupled to the glass panel and including a display mounting portion on which the display is mounted.
Apparatus for sensing and removing dew on refrigerator and controlling method thereof
Provided is an apparatus for sensing and removing dew on a refrigerator. The apparatus may include a heater disposed at a refrigerator body or inside a surface of a door, and a sensor disposed in close proximity to the heater. The sensor may be configured to sense dew formed on a prescribed surface at the refrigerator body or the door. The sensor may be disposed physically separate from the prescribed surface to sense formation of dew on the prescribed surface. The heater is controlled to generate heat that removes the sensed dew on the prescribed surface based on a signal from the sensor.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator is proposed. The refrigerator includes a manipulation part including a rotating shaft and a manipulation knob, an opening/closing part configured to have a curved surface and located at a position adjacent to the circumference of the rotating shaft such that the opening/closing part opens and closes a communication portion between an inlet part and an enlarged part of a flow guide, and an angle limiting part configured to limit the rotation angle of the manipulation knob, whereby the manipulation knob of a thermostat for temperature control of the freezer compartment is configured to have the operation angle of 120˜160°, thereby improving manipulation satisfaction during the manipulation of the manipulation knob by a user.
Inventory management system for a refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance is provided including a cabinet defining a chilled chamber, a door rotatably hinged to the cabinet to provide selective access to the chilled chamber, and a camera assembly mounted to the cabinet for monitoring the chilled chamber. A controller is operably coupled to the camera assembly and is configured to obtain a raw image using the camera assembly, analyze the raw image to identify an anchor object, crop the raw image to generate a reduced image surrounding the anchor object, and analyze the reduced image to identify a food item being added to or removed from the chilled chamber.
Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
A vacuum adiabatic body according to the present invention includes a conductive resistance sheet which connects a first plate member and a second plate member to each other; a sealing frame which covers the conductive resistance sheet; a part fixing frame which is supported by the sealing frame; and a part which is mounted on the part fixing frame. According to the present invention, the power necessary for operation can be stably supplied while heat loss is prevented.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE HAVING A CAMERA ARRANGED IN A DOOR
A domestic appliance includes: a treatment chamber that can be closed by a pivotable door; at least one camera arranged in the door for recording images from the treatment chamber when the door is open; and a door movement sensor for detecting values of at least one parameter of a door movement. The door movement sensor has at least one inertial sensor. At least one camera and the at least one inertial sensor are integrated in a camera/sensor module which is arranged in the door. The camera/sensor module has a communication device, at least for outputting image data from the camera of the camera/sensor module. The domestic appliance is configured to trigger at least one device function upon the detection of at least one trigger value. The invention is particularly suited for cooling devices, particularly refrigerators.
REFRIGERATION APPARATUS FOR SHIPPING, AND SHIPPING CONTAINER
A guide member extends from an opening of a casing toward an internal space. The guide member guides the temperature sensor to the internal space. The detector and the lead wire of the temperature sensor are held by the guide member.
