Dispensing apparatus provided with a cooling unit
A beverage container cooling unit has: (a) a housing having a slot for receiving a container therein, (b) a cooling element having a cold supply, (c) a heat conductive panel enabling heat transfer between a container provided in the slot and the cold supply; wherein the heat conductive panel has two material layers fixed against one another: (I) a first material layer defining a cooling surface facing the container receiving slot and an opposed surface, said first layer made of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient of X.sub.1; (ii) a second material layer having a contact surface facing positioned against the opposed surface of the first material layer and a second opposed surface, the second material layer having a thermal expansion coefficient of X.sub.2, different from X.sub.1, the difference in thermal expansion causing the conductive panel to bulge at a change in temperature.
PORTABLE COOLER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
System and apparatus for holding vials
An apparatus for holding one or more vials of a fluid that is to be protected, including an insulator housing that includes separate housing halves that, when joined together, form an internal space and a recess, a two piece carrier that is disposed within the recess formed by the separate housing halves, and a one piece vial rack supported by the two piece carrier. The one piece vial rack has a plurality of vial passages each for accommodating an elongated vial that contains a biological substance.
Modular retrofit quench unit
The disclosure features various embodiments and aspects of a chest for quenching beverages. The chest can include a tank for holding a chilled mixture of ice and water, an ice maker adapted for making ice having an output for ejecting ice into a conduit in fluid communication with the tank, and a plurality of quench trays disposed above the tank for holding containers of beverages located in first and second positions. The trays can be filled with cold water by way of a conduit in fluid communication with the tank. The quench trays can include a compartment defined by a bottom and a plurality of walls, and defining therein a plurality of rows for aligning and containing a plurality of beverage containers. The drawers can further include at least one drain orifice configured to guide water out of the quench tray.
Portable cooler with active temperature control
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Freezable Cooler Partition
A freezable cooler partition is provided. The device includes a disk having a central aperture therethrough, wherein the disk defines an interior volume about the central aperture. The disk is dimensioned to partition a cooler into an upper compartment and a lower compartment. A regulator includes an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the lower portion is removably securable within the central aperture. An opening is disposed within the upper portion and is in fluid communication with a channel extending through the regulator. An elongated rod having an upper end opposite a lower end is removably securable to the upper portion of the regulator. A platform is disposed on the upper end of the elongated rod.
Cryogenic container
The invention relates to a cryogenic container for storing and/or transporting a medium, in particular a biochemical and/or medical product. The cryogenic container comprises at least one primary container, which has at least one flexible film bag. The flexible film bag is designed to receive the medium. The cryogenic container furthermore comprises at least one secondary container, which at least partially surrounds the primary container and is preferably at least partially flexible. The secondary container has at least one opening for insertion of the primary container. The secondary container furthermore has at least one preferably at least partially flexible outer sleeve. The secondary container furthermore has at least one heat exchanger space, which is arranged between the outer sleeve and the flexible film bag and receives at least one fluid heat exchange medium.
Temperature-controlled portable cooling units
Portage storage containers including controlled evaporative cooling systems are described herein. In some embodiments, a portable container including an integral controlled evaporative cooling system includes: a storage region, an evaporative region adjacent to the storage region, a desiccant region adjacent to the outside of the container, and an insulation region positioned between the evaporative region and the desiccant region. A vapor conduit with an attached vapor control unit has a first end within the evaporative region and a second end within the desiccant region. In some embodiments, the controlled evaporative cooling systems are positioned in a radial configuration within the portable container.
Electronically cooled container assembly
A electronically cooled container assembly for cooling a beverage includes a base is positionable on a support surface. A thermoelectric cooling coil is positioned within the base and the thermoelectric coiling coil is in thermal communication with the base. The thermoelectric cooling coil absorbs heat from the base when the thermoelectric cooling coil is turned on thereby cooling the base. A pitcher for containing a beverage is provided and the pitcher is comprised of a translucent material. The pitcher is positionable on the base such that the pitcher is in thermal communication with the base. Moreover, the thermoelectric cooling coil cools the pitcher when the thermoelectric cooling coil is turned on for cooling the beverage.
